Rated 3 out of 5Â by Impala69 Seems to work well...too bad it was broken when I received it
Works pretty well, though the wheels seem to lock up from time to time if the leaves get a little too thick. Frame was dented and one of the axle mounts was completely broken off when I opened the box! Not sure of the quality or how 4 rivets broke between the factory and delivery at my home. (See photos) Because I needed to use it, I did not have the luxury of time to send back and wait for a new one. I punched out the broken rivets and bolted the bracket back on myself and it works fine, but I have been meaning to write and would expect some type of compensation from the company and/or Home Depot. If I do not hear from someone as a result of this post, I will be reaching out.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by mlm1946 This lawn sweeper is great!
I purchased the 50-inch lawn sweeper and it's one of the best purchases I have made to make my lawn care easier. I have 3+ acres to mow, so I needed a large, heavy-duty sweeper. This size is great for my lawn and my lawn looks great after sweeping up the grass clippings. It also picks up other small debris with no problems. Quick assembly, ease of use. A bit heavy for me to dump the grass clippings, but that, in no way, would prevent me from highly recommending this sweeper.

The sweeper does a great job and is easy to tow behind my Husqvarna tractor even when the hopper is full. I like that the sweeper can be backed up to the debris pile for dumping. When the hopper is full its too heavy to dump by pulling the rope, no problem there I just had to dismount the tractor and dump the hopper by lifting the corner. If you have a large yard and a lot of leaves this is a great sweeper to have.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by norman Easy to put together and use
I did alot of research before buying a sweeper. I almost gave up on finding one to fit my needs. Then I found this one and WOW the reveiws sold me to try it. Worth every penny i spent. I am NOT mechanicaly inclined had it put together and on my yard in 55 min. It will get heavy with cut grass and chopped leaves. I didnt think it would work on my rough yard in the lowest setting but i was wrong never missed a beat. I have an antique cub cadet (128) and 2nd gear 1/4 throttle did the best job. I believe I will have it for a very long time!!

It's big. Really big. But it does a super job and operates very smoothly. It handles pine cones and needles with no trouble, and it sure beats raking leaves by hand.
Since it was out of stock at our local store (too late in the season) I had it delivered (free UPS delivery!) straight to my home. Everything was shipped in a long (about 5 feet) box that had a shipping weight of 102 LB. The assembly was very straightforward and well explained in the manual, and everything fitted together well. The most difficult thing (to me) was the installation of the two "tension rods" which are strong, spring steel rods that must be held in a bow shape during installation. The ends of the rods are inserted into holes in the top and bottom frames inside the hopper and keep it spread open.
I got this sweeper in early October to sweep leaves and I gave it a trial run as soon as it was assembled and it worked perfectly. After sweeping the lawn I examined the sweeper closely and noticed one wheel was unusually wobbly. The wheel was removed and the problem was seen to be the hard plastic wheel bushings which had been improperly assembled at the factory and were damaged. So I went to the Ohio Steel Industries website (the manufacturer) where there is an easy-to-use warranty parts-order form, filled it out, and the parts delivered to my door free of charge three days after they were ordered. No questions asked. The bushings were easily installed and the sweeper's back in service and has swept leaves twice since then. Oh, this unit is warranted for three years (excepting wheels, brushes, and the bag which are considered wear items).
It should be noted that 26 cu. ft. of leaves is a lot of leaves. It takes quite a strong pull of the dump rope to lift the hopper while sitting on the mower, but it can be done. That minor detail is the only reason the "ease of use" category was marked "good". One can certainly dump the hopper before it's full if it seems too heavy when full. I really like the spiral shape of the brushes; since there is always a part of a brush in contact with the lawn, the operation is much smoother than sweepers with straight brushes.
So far, I'm quite pleased with the sweeper and expect it to last many more years.
