I had purchased this product after seeing it on tv. They had showed it holding up a frame or something like that. I purchased to packs of it thinking this will work wonderful for my lightweight pictures that weighed about two pounds. After putting them up I thought everything was going to hold, then suddenly two of my frames came down.... I was grateful that the glass did not break but unhappy that I had wasted my money on this product.
The only thing that held up with it was the poster board I had up that weighed less than a pound.
It was a total waste of money and all the items had been under the weight limit and it just did not work.

Last weekend my Fiancé and I were woken up around 6:30 AM with the noise of bottles falling and hitting each other.
I ran to the kitchen to see what had happened when I saw a picture that I had hung months ago on the top of my bar and my collection of sample bottles.
I couldn't believe how a picture that was hung for so much time could be on the floor without any reason.
The result was that I had to use a real picture hanger to replace the 2 big command hangers that I had before and that after I put the picture back in place I realized that it was damaged by the fall.
This event not only made me totally disappointed with 3M Command, but it also made me lose my time and money.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by CStanle17 Best invention ever!
In the past I have had my boyfriend hang up all the pictures and frames around the house using your typical hammer and nail. Now I enjoy hanging everything on the walls myself using these simple command strips! They are durable and very easy to use. I currently have several paintings hanging on the walls using only command strips. Very easy to remove with the pulling of the tab. Great invention!

Taking care of an aunt in a nursing home I saw a potential accident-waiting-to-happen in her bathroom. I saw it was quite difficult for her to reach the wall behind her for access to the toilet tissue. I purchased a simple, plastic toilet tissue holder and used the large strips to fasten it to the wall. She could see this right beside her. This made it much easier for her to use. I also used this when a good friend had to spend time recouperating in a nursing home. Also, my aunt's clock is held on the wall with a hook. These strips are great.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by emmons5 wonderful in my craft room
I have recently been trying and I do mean trying, to organize all my craft supplies, I have so many things to hang, I have really come to love the command strips, I use them for hanging my cork boards, and dry erase boards, they are easy to take down and move if I end up not liking the position, and also I use the refills without hooks for things like that. I have small hooked strips that i hung paper lanterns from. I have 4 large hooks that were being used for my kids' coats but they are being repurposed to my craft room. I have never once had a strip leave a mark on my wall or furniture, no have I had one fall off the wall. I love them. I just recently got the picture hanging strips and I really love them (of course better than the strips alone for the flat hanging things)
