Rated 3 out of 5 by Great while it lasted : model brinkman 810-8410-S Lasted 6 full years and a few months in 2014. We ordered parts to fix the brinkman gas grill and the parts did not fit. The parts were purchased specific from according to the model number 8410 (Armada) 810-8410-S Hoped it would have lasted longer, but we did use it a lot every summer as well as intermittently throughout the year. It was easy to start and had even heat the first few years . The wheels had to be replaced twice so it made it difficult to move. November 7, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great inexpensive grill, great value overall I have had this grill for three years now, using it regularly including in winter. I keep It outside all the time, I put its cover on when I remember... Overall cooking is good and heat distribution satisfactory. All parts work OK and it still ignites on the first click. I never used the side burner, even though i see it's working. One of the heat plates (the most used side) is now corroded and I have switched it with the least corroded one (I recommend you do this regularly, as for tire rotations in your car). I paid about $200 for it three years ago. I can replace the four plates for about $50. The equivalent Weber would cost upward of $800 and I doubt it would last for 10 or 12 years (before you actually wanted to change it anyway). Conclusion: If it's your first grill or if you just use the grill a couple of time a week tops this is a great grill, certainly worth its little price. If you want to impress your neighbors and/or if you are a heavy grill user you may want to go towards a more durable brand. March 23, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by Rusted internals just after one year. You get what you pay for. It was a great grill untill the coatings on the grates started comming off in the food. When I replaced the grates $60+ I noticed the burner and the burner covers were rusted and need to be replaced by the end of the 2nd season. So if you want a grill for a short time this is nice for the first year. Then plan to pay $$$ for replacing rusted parts or better yet buy a new grill. December 16, 2011
Rated 3 out of 5 by low quality, barely acceptable for the money Had mine for 3 years, and rust finally killed non-replacable parts. I had already replaced lots of things. Only reason to buy this one is the price. I am not going to get another one!! September 4, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Replacement parts cost as much as grill I have had this grill for about 3 years now. The grill works as intended. Unfortunately, as with many grills it is time to replace the internal cooking parts. The burner tubes, the heat shields, and the crossover channels. To buy these parts at the local home improvement store is about $200, to order them from the manufacture is about $150 with shipping. So now I am faced with should I buy replacement parts or just get a new grill for $200. Make having to replace the parts your number 1 consideration when buying any grill. September 30, 2012
