Be sure to read the instructions. Although the paint is Purple, you still need to paint a base coat under it. To get the level of sparkle we wanted, we ended up applying 6 coats. Luckily, it was only a two inch stripe that we were painting.
One thing to becareful about. We tapped above and below the stripe. When we removed the tape, the sparkle paint came with it. We had to use a razorblade before removing the tape. This could have been because we let the first 5 coats dry. Overall the color and sparkle turned out great.

After using BEHR, I guess my expectations are pretty high. This paint, quite honestly, is the most expensive paint I've ever used, and the WORST paint I've ever used. It is like trying to paint with water and glitter. It has taken me six and seven coats to get complete coverage.
So... I will most certainly use something else next time. If you have the chance to use this paint... don't.

After following the directions provided by the "expert" in the paint department and an entire jar of glitter paint, my wall has no sign of glitter or sparkle. Very disappointed in the product and results.

Love the purple crocus glitter paint, it added just enough of an accent that was needed to brighten my daughters room. Love it

Rated 3 out of 5Â by Nana The end result was nice but getting there was very time consuming.
This was more of a glaze than a paint. I used it on a small round tabletop for my daughter and I had to use the entire contents for a suitable coverage. Had I known that it was a glaze, I would have painted the tabletop the appropriate color first with a flat paint then used the Martha Stewart on top. I could have finished it in 2 to 3 coats instead of 8.
