I love my new door. We got it to replace the old 'wagon wheel' style door from the 50's. Our brick is beige and there is terrezza tile on the front porch. We went with a deep burgundy for the door color, trimmed with a dark taupe. It's exquisite. (The light has also since been replaced)

I couldn't be more pleased with this purchase. I shopped around and did comparisons with other Brands and was very impressed with Jen-Weld. The Door is constructed very well with nice detailing. The installation was a breeze, took approximately a Hour and a Half but, keep in mind that the Prep Work is the most important part of it. When the Door shuts, it forms a nice tight vacuum seal, just what its supposed to do. Looks great !

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Perks713 Check a diagram of how doors open before ordering online
"From outside, opens toward the inside of the home with the hinges on the right"
I read this description and to mean it reads: From outside, handle on the left, push in, hinges are on the right. Of course it's the opposite.
It doesn't help that this is the first time I've tried to replace a door, and it didn't help that I ordered it online so that my buddy with a truck could pick it up. I looked at doors in the store and online for a month before finally lining up a friend to help me get the door. I've had to figure out how to get it back to the store and pickup the correct door now.
It's my mistake, but that description is insanely backwards to a normal human.

Rated 3 out of 5Â by JoeJ Nice looking door and overall, OK
The door is very nice looking and much better than the one it is replacing. But there are a few issues. The hinge cut outs were not all the same depth so it needed modification to close properly. The glue/caulk used to seal the windows was over used and took a few hours of scraping to get it off the glass. Lastly the door should be re-primed if using latex based paints. I had cleaned the door before painting and allowed it to dry for a few hours before painting but the latex took 5 coats for it to bond fully and evenly. Overall it took a little extra work that wasn't expected but we are still pleased with the outcome.

I have been wanting a door this style for the longest time - but I found they were expensive - mainly because I needed a 32x80. When I found this one on special I was instantly ready to purchase, the door looks great, and goes in fairly easily. The screws included for the brick mould were not long enough for my home (which is significantly older), but all the needed parts were there - only problem I ran into was the 1st door they brought to my car had hammer dents in the brick mould, so I refused that one and they brought another that looked much better. I know this was mentioned in another review as well. Take a chance on this one - its great!!!
