Great for small to medium lawns. I bought one of these 5 years ago at HomeDepot.. It has worked
well. It has plenty of power for when I let the grass get too high. I've had gas mowers and it was a pain to have to change the oil or run out of gas just before finishing the lawn and then have to go out for more.
No need to remember to disconnect the spark plug before tilting the mower to clean caked up
grass from underneath. It's also lighter than similar sized gas mowers and a little quieter.

I am a female who participates in yard work around the house with my fiance. I picked electric because I wouldn't have to go to the gas station and can start my mower up whenever I feel like it. It's very light and so easy to use. Plus I don't feel bad when I start mowing at 7-8am because the loudness is significantly less then a gas mower. My fiance was initially hessitant with the purchase, but after 2 uses he is satisfied with the outcome. Although, it is a bit more $$ then the other electric mowers, it is definitely better built. Glad I purchased the mower and even happier that I don't have to deal with the stench of a gas consuming product. Buy this mower, you won't regret it.

Appreciate the full metal housing as opposed to all plastic on other electric mowers.

I never owned an electric mower before simply because of the thought of having to drag a cord around. I have change my mind about that since buying one. Just plan out your pattern on the yard and the cord is no problem at all. No more cranking on stubborn mowers and much less noise. Really happy with it.

Rated 3 out of 5Â by Chopper Decent mower for small sized yards
Overall the mower was Okay. My lawn was overdue for mowing so probably it was a bit tough on the mower but it took me several sweeps back and forth in order to get an even cut. Seems like there is some trouble with cutting the grass at the center of the blade. Another issue I had was with the wire. I used a 100 foot, 12 gauge wire which was quite heavy to drag around while mowing. I have a 1/4 acre backyard and this mower is not good for that size yard. But it will work out very well for small yards. The unit is light to move around and along with a short wire it might work out just fine.
