Rated 5 out of 5Â by Lynn Our Wine-Pantry Fridge
Refrigerator was delivered in perfect condition due to excellent packing at point of origin. We contacted Summit to determine exact amp "draw" and learned the startup was six and only three amps when running--this is a very efficient fridge. We have it in a walk-in closet (5' X 6') and are in the process of installing wine storage and pantry shelving. Previously, we had a wine cooler which threw off heat and ran constantly. This refrigerator is quiet, cool running, and efficient. We use the fridge as a secondary unit for overflow from our built-in, 20 cf, side-by-side refrigerator and find it holds almost as much as our larger unit based on a better configuration of the shelving. The freezer drawers reduce cold loss when getting something out, but the material used for the drawers is not as substantial as I would have liked. Physically, the unit is a great size taking up only two square feet of space. Overall, we are very pleased with unit and would recommend it without reservation.

Rated 1 out of 5Â by bruin22 Do NOT buy this product!!! Buyers beware!
First off, this is an extremely poorly made product. It looks nice in the pictures but the plastic strip along the top, wobbly base, plastic shelves that don't slide well and countless other features make it look and feel cheap. The product was actually delivered to me with the door not being able to close all the way if you can believe that.
Another major complaint is this thing is super loud. If it's anywhere near your bedroom or an area you need to be quiet, I would stay away from it. It sounds like an airplane when it's running.
Lastly, Summit's customer service is probably the worst I've ever come across. Buying this product resulted in me having to take three days off of work to deal with issues and countless more hours following up and sending emails and phone calls, only half of which were answered. Probably the worst customer service I have ever received, so much so that as a long time Home Depot customer I will no longer shop with them knowing they deal with and support these types of partners.
Go with a real brand that has a known reputation for building solid products.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by happy2011 Nice size refrigerator
We have a very small kitchen and we wanted all of our appliances 25" deep. This refrigerator was the right size and made in the U.S. so we choose it. It has three small drawers in the freezer, so large items won't fit. There is no ice maker. But it is very quiet and claims to cost only $42/year to operate. Not a good unit if you have children - the door CANNOT be opened for a couple of minutes after closing. It creates a vacuum and I can see a kid fighting to get the door open. You learn to consider carefully what you take out of the refrigerator! But I really like the futurist look and I would purchase this refrigerator again.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by MarknMPLS Great Refrigerator
I love this refrigerator! It looks great and it fits perfect in my tiny bungalow kitchen, I was a bit skeptical about downsizing to a 10 cubic foot from a 18 cubic foot refrigerator but this one is so well designed that everything fits in it just perfect. I ordered it with the optional ice maker, it works great!

Rated 1 out of 5Â by SadSummit Cannot recommend this Summit refridgerator / VERY LOUD
I will start out by saying this is a very attractive refridgerator. The stainless is flawless and the overall physical quality is excellent. However, as others have stated, it is VERY loud. Not just compressor loud- that's not so bad but as it goes through it's defrosting cycle and at each start up it makes very loud popping, wheezing and cracking noises. Summit acknowledges this as they place an insert within the paperwork stating these are 'normal' noises. Perhaps, but they are HUGELY annoying. I called Summit [efficient but not pleasant] and had a service person out within a few days and was told indeed this is 'normal' for this type of unit. But the technician did agree that although Summit clains they are 'normal', in his opinion they should not be considered acceptable. He also stated that these are 'self contained' units and that dismantling will void the warranty so there was not much he could do. Summit will not authorize repair work and that they require that the units be shipped back for service[!]. So after being told the unit was technically not defective, I decided to wait a bit to see if the unit would start to function in a more quiet manner. It has not and has only gotten worse. It has been 5 months now and I am about to make another service call as I cannot take it anymore.
I really wanted to like this unit and give it an excellent review but I cannot. Overall it is efficient, great physical quality and the perfect size. My home is very quiet and it is all I hear when it is running. But if your home has a fair amount of ambient noise then perhaps it will not be a problem for you...
