I bought these to use as tie-downs under a small cabin I am building. I was very surprised at how well they started to thread their way into the ground. After a few turns it got to hard to turn by hand so I inserted a 1/2" steel spike in ring for leverage and that got things going again. I hit rocks each time but kept up the pressure and got each anchor completely installed. They also seem very well made and I considered it a good deal all around.

I used this anchor with hi tensile wire in my vineyard to build new trellis's. They worked perfectly for this application. They are very sturdy, and come packaged nicely. They even have a protector on the sharp point at the end. A nice touch which you will appreciate once you see how sharp it is. Went into fairly dry soil, and in some cases, tree roots, with ease. The loop on the end is big enough to get a crow bar in, which is what I used to screw it into the ground. I will definitely purchase them again if I expand my vineyard.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Mike Solidly constructed and hold extremely well in sandy soil.
These were purchased to anchor a 14' trampoline. I researched several styles and manufacturers and these appeared to be the best. My assumption proved true. We live in SW Florida where the soil would pass for sandbox material in the North. These anchors were easy to start but really dug in the last 8", requiring an 18' breakover bar to cinch them flush with the ground in thick, St. Augustine grass. We can remove the straps, move the trampoline for mowing, and not worry about hitting the rings on these as they fold flush with the top plate below the grass.

If you are looking for a ground anchor, this is the one! Look now further. Sturdy and solid. I used mine to anchor a small storage shed, (SuncastHorizontal 3 ft. 1 in. x 4 ft. 7in. Resin Storage Shed), to the ground. The shed will be used to house my generator. I put the anchors through the floor of the shed into concrete. The loops on the anchors made it handy to pass a chain through to padlock the generator to then anchors inside the shed.
