I bought this camera/light for a secluded area of my back yard. It works better than I expected, except I haven't been able to get it to record video clips (only photos).
The light is bright and picks up/follows motion from 20' away. The pics come out clear and good quality. During daytime, clear images at 20'. Nighttime recording is a little less distinct - a person has to be quite close to the light source in order to be clear in the photos but it still picks up quite a bit in the distance. The camera does pick up shadows, squirrels and moving branches, etc. so a lot of pics to look through. The SD card holds over 3000 pics - mine hasn't started rewriting over the old pics yet so I have no idea what the full capacity is...
The audio features are fun (especially the barking dog) but I don't really use those...
I gave it four stars because of the video not recording - it's not immediately clear why it only records pics and not video but it's just too much drama to take it down and send it for service. I'm happy with the purchase and would buy it again.

Our nightwatcher replaced the backporch light on the covered porch. It works amazing! Set up wasnt bad either just 3 wires to connect. Setting up the features was quite easy once you figure out all the options. We had no problem changing the setting from video clips to pictures and vice versa. The micro card included worked great in either pc and also our photosmart printer. The video clips and pictures either day or night were high quality and time stamped. We have had no "trips" of the light with wind or leaves falling. We bought the LED version to save on electrical cost. On a fun note i think it is just cool to watch it "watch" you when you are in its range. Its a great deterent. Placement is important, being that ours replaced a fixture that was by the backdoor, it is very convienent to access the "sd door". Accessing the sd card doesnt require pulling out a ladder to retrieve it.
Its only been a week, im holding out to see 30-45 days from now until i purchase another one for the other side of the house. The light portion is enclosed in a metal finish, the rest of it is in a highend plastic, it didnt feel cheap. Hope this helps you decide its a great product, so far....

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Coach The features are great especially the ability to follow a person as they move around.
This is the coolest security light. My wife and I went out together in different directions to see how it would handle that. It went from one to the other and no matter which way we went, it would follow and then zoom back to the other person. We love it.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Terri great lights!
I love these lights! I had them installed professionally...the lights follow every movement in the yard....we had fun running back and forth in the yard, trying to trick them, but they followed our every movement....loving the fact that they also take pics and videos of the movement...i got 5 to cover the entire yard....one of them kept going out at first, not lighting or following, but in calling the company, they explained how to reset it and it's been just fine since then! nice and bright! lights up everything!

Very easy to install. I don't much care for the bracket that it attaches to. it is somewhat flimsy and the weight of the device causes it to sag just a bit leaving an opening at the top between the lamp and the junction box. I will have to make some modification in order to close that gap. But other than that, it's wonderful. the motion sensors work great and the lamp really tracks the motion well and lights up quite nicely. I haven't played with the video or audio features yet. The only other issue I had with it is the claimed 220 degree coverage. The lamp head only rotates 180 degrees. The 220 degree coverage is peripheral. I mounted this on a corner thinking it would aim across the front of the house in one direction then rotate all the way around and aim back at the garage (which is just back a bit from the house) in the other direction (220 degrees would be adequate). Nope, it shines across the front of the house alright but then only shines across the drive/parking area in front of the garage, not at the garage. Still all things considered (mainly price and ease of installation), it's a great device. Works very well and is super easy to install.
