Not much for reviews but since I just put in a wood stove and read all the reviews I could I figured I would post one to help out.
I got this guy after doing a lot of reading and research and (Shopping) around and figured I would post about it were I had been looking at woodstoves.
Had it put in the basement of a 3 story 2400 square foot house not including basement. Heats the whole house including my basement which had no heat to 70 plus degree's at all times easily (temp has dropped down to 10 degree's low so far this season). Its a nice heat as well as it heats the floors and frame of the house so even when the fires been out for a while the whole house stays warm for most of a day. I simply open the basement door and let the heat rise up out which is oppisite side as the woodstove. If I made vents I'm certain I could get the house much warmer but we like the 70 temp as we have to let the fire go out to get to sleep.
Has enabled us to stop using oil to heat so far this winter which is saving tons. I think if you dont have access to wood or are not planning on doing much of the work yourself its a tough choice to get a wood stove after all the research I've done as far as cost savings are concerned. But as I have a lot of wood on my land to pluck at and plan on buying green cords in the spring and cutting them up myself at 100 dollars per cord much cheaper so it will work out great. About half the cost of oil at a much warmer tempature.
I dont even use the ash tray as I figure that would be more work. I bought a bucket and ash scooper which is easy to maintain.
Its easy to control and starts very easy even easier if you get some kiln dried wood which I tried and is like firestarter itself.
Deffinently recommend this stove and patiently awaiting for my next power outage to feel the true value of my purchase :-).
p.s take out bricks before moving into house much lighter, was able to move it with myself and brother out of back of truck but might want a 3rd or 4th person as we are pretty able for the job.

We bought this stove about 6 weeks ago! We purchased because the extremely cold winter coupled with the high cost of propane was more than we wanted to spend heating our home. I researched many brands of stoves and relied on reviews greatly in making a choice. I needed a bigger stove because of the open floor plan and high ceilings in our log home. Because of our roof configuration and the chimney already in place from previous owners, we located the stove in our upstairs loft. We force the hot air down via a pair of ceiling fans located over the main living area. This work nicely and allows the furnace to remain idle most of the time . Before stove we used between 7-10% propane per week! Since we have used 10% in 5 weeks with comparable weather. The only issue encounterd when installing was with the blower motor.h I had to drill two new screw holes because the motor holes didn't match properly with the stove holes. I clean out every three days. Fill stove before bed and still have hot coals to restart. All in all, we are very satisfied with this stove!

Rated 5 out of 5Â by SuzyQ It looks like a wood stove, not a gas furnace!
This stove heats my whole house! If I load it right there are at least a bed of coals in the morning. Frequently there are still flames. I add a couple of chunks of wood and it starts right up. I've very impressed!

This stove puts out a lot of heat and we think the blower is a great addition. It burns for many hours and we always have hot coals awaiting new wood in the morning. Exactly what we wanted.

missing parts:- sheetmetal deflector from rear, screws to hold drawer handle.
got the runaround from manufacturer when i called to request parts.
instructions are poor. there are parts (specifically gaskets) that are not mentioned anywhere in the instructions, only when i called to whine did i discover where they went. however i had assembled it beyond the ability to install it without disassembly so i left it out. hard to get started. doesnt draw too well. small chimney to blame methinks. however once its going, it burns a nice long time. doesnt get as hot as im used to. tho its much more efficient than my last one. door is kinda small.
