Rated 4 out of 5Â by diygal From eww to awesome in a day!
I installed this in my living room and will be continuing through my kitchen and dining room. I have installed thick expensive laminate as well as the thin cheap stuff. I would say that the installation "feels" much like the cheaper laminate... It is easy to work with, though the "click" isn't really obvious at all- leaving me wondering if all the joints are well seated. I am a worrier though, and it is probably fine. I went with this vs laminate for the durability and water resistance. The room really transformed from eww to wow!
I've posted a pic, please disregard my dog bed coffee table and walls that are yet to be painted (can't decide on a color) :)

Allure Ultra Flooring.
Decided on this for our kitchen floor.
Ordered one pack online to
make sure color and pattern was
acceptable for our kitchen. Installation took a little trial and error. Similar to installing laminate flooring , just easier to cut. Our kitchen had a lot of objects to work around , so I took quite a bit of time to check pattern to all edges. Cut lengths by scoring with razor then snapping, cut length wise on table saw. Just make sure joints fit completely together. As you work some previous joints may separate slightly, (I cannot stress this point enough..) so go back and check and recheck joints to make sure they are completely engaged. All in all very well made and had very few pieces which were damaged.

Purchased TrafficMaster vinyl plank flooring for half of the house from home depot. purchased Tarkett luxury vinyl plank from a flooring store. The tarkett was supposed to be the best vinyl plank out there at $5+ a square foot. The trafficMaster was thicker, same gloss but not as slippery as the tarkett, the major difference was the smell. Tarkett vinyl plank let off very high chemical odor. the TrafficMaster's chemical odor was not noticeable. TrafficMaster covered 400sqf in one room, tarkett covered 600sqf in the other

We weren't sure about the "fake" wood look - but after being fooled a few times by floors we admired, we decided to try it. We wanted a modern look but low maintenance floor for a busy family bathroom. Also - we aren't sure we wanted something really permanent (i.e. tile) because we may want to remodel the bathroom in the future. We were pleasantly surprised by how easy to install and stylish this floor was. We have had it for 3 months now with no visible wear n tear... it doesn't show the dirt either. success.

I purchased this flooring after having a wonderful experience with the Allure Ultra in Vintage Oak Cinnamon last month. Our kitchen measurements called for 10 boxes without taking the cabinets into consideration. Considering it's that wonderful time of year when I get a little something back for being a hard worker tax-payer, I figured what the heck and bought all 10. Since our power was knocked out by recent storms and I had nothing better to do I got to work laying our floor.
In order to complete this installation I used literally 2 items: a utility blade and a framing square. The included installation instructions suggest using 16" offsets, however I prefer the look of 12" (plus it left me with more usable scraps). They also say to use a tape measure to determine where to cut your last piece in each row, however it is faster (and easier in my opinion) to just flip the board around lengthwise and cut where the two ends meet.
When all was said and done I used 8 boxes, plus 1 plank, and had the floor finished in about 6 hours, which included the time spent moving my refrigerator, hutch, dining set, and pantry by myself. This is not an easy feat for a 5'4" weaksauce female such as myself. The color is exactly what I was hoping for, and this particular style has extra detailing in the texture to really give it the look of stained wood.
With the nearly 2 boxes left over I plan on ripping up the tile in my half bathroom and putting these puppies down.
