I opened it up,soldered in a set of wires across the door opener switch, added a remote button to it and use it on my motorcycle. So it isn't being used the way it was intended but it works well.

This was really handy as I was able to stop carrying the big remote for the garage door when riding my motorcycle

Had bought two of the chamberlain remotes. The first time no matter what I did the unit just didn't seem to work the way the instructions said. I had done this procedure many times in the past so I brought the first unit back. I was told that the remote was for a newer brand even though my chamberlain opener was installed in 2009. Went out an purchase another one. When that one didn't work again the same way. I got online and called the customer service. The gentleman was very nice and said that sometime they don't work but there was a way to reset the key chain button unit. He walked me through the unit and now it works just fine.

Rated 3 out of 5Â by gflingle eats batteries
I bought this to keep in my motorcycle jacket. It works well with a new battery (cell) but it gets only about 4 - 5 openings per battery. I can't afford to keep replacing batteries that often.
Otherwise, it's a nice remote. Got it to work with my opener easily.

Rated 1 out of 5Â by blaster Batteries only last about 2 weeks
I got tired of having to get off my motorcycle and unlocking the door so I could raise the door so I bought this opener. It worked great for about 2 weeks then the battery went dead. I thought it was because it was the one that came in the unit and it had been on the shelf for a while. On the back of the unit the date is April of 2013. I bought it in late July or August. Here it is November the 1st and I have replaced the batteries several times and I only use the unit once or twice every couple of weeks. Batteries are expensive for this thing.
