Was torn between this 12-segment wheel or to spend nearly double for the 24-segment one. Needed it for only one job (grinding the edge of a five-inch slab step-down flush so I could glue oak base molding to it). Opted for the less expensive 12-segment wheel since it was only for one project. Wasn't at all disappointed. Made quick work of the concrete, and was accurate, easy to install, and easily controllable on my DeWalt 7-inch grinder. Next time I'll use a dust shroud; grinding concrete is always messy. Would recommend the wheel for purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Tired57 Did a great job
The wheel performed very well. It cut through the carpet backing and adhesive very well and quickly. On the second half of the concrete basement floor I had removed 12"X12" adhesive back tile. The wheel cut through that adhesive as well. The only problem encountered was the overwhelming amount of cement dust that it created. That was to be expected. I used a Dustie Shroud and shop vac that lasted 3/4 of the way around the outside edge of the room before it was eaten up by running the wheel up to the wall base to get the adhesive that was up against the cinder block wall.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by Epoxy Good aggressive blade
Blade works well on hard concrete. Not the longest lasting blade, but a great blade for the price.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by chunky Good to remove thinset
I removed a layer of thinset from the back of about forty ceramic tiles that were needed to match some original tiles. It worked fast and didn't break the tiles. I did this outdoors, so the dust was not too much of a problem.

Rated 2 out of 5Â by JayM Shorter usefull life than expected
Ground an 11' x 11' area of paint from a basement floor, and had to put on another blade to finish. Other blades have provided much more grinding time.
