If you have a 96 inch door the options are limited. Only a few stores carry the 96 inch doors and the color options were white or copper. This door matched my house well at a good price. The 80 inch doors start for much less. The installation requires a level and checking the spacing as you go since the bolts are one way and not easy to remove. The tool for the lag screws works okay but be careful not to round the screw seat or you may need to file it square.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by Rick Nice product
I bought and installed this security door, I liked the type of screen; visually you can see through this screen much better than the metal sheet type with holes punched in it. I did use the special tool for driving the one way screws; I read mixed reviews on this tool; it is helpful - not great. In the end I was glad I bought the tool. Door is very nice and works fine; good fit and finish. Excellent value over-all.

The door look great and complements the house. The local installers that were sent to install the door did a fantastic job.
The only dissapointment is that the actual door was slightly buckled at the handle point, this makes it impossible to lock the door using one hand. You have to pull tight the door with one hand and lock it with the other.
Our installers were very appoligetic about this and let us know after the door was installed.
I had the door delivered to me first because it was a special order item (8 ft.) ad did not want to go through the ordeal of ordering another one.

Looks okay and does the job. Makes a lot of noise when closing the door (the screen mesh is not spot welded to the door in enough spots, so it rattles loudly. Also, to get it to line up perfectly with you door opening will be mercy from God. Be prepared to jerry-rig the unit to your door jamb.

Rated 1 out of 5Â by Tish Door is very warped
The non-secure "security door" is very warped. The warp begins at 10" from the bottom measuring 2/16" of an inch wide from frame to door edge and increases as you go up to the top to 1/2"-inch. Neither the deadbolt or doorknob bolt will slide into the strike-plates to lock. Even when pushing on the door, the doorknob bolt will not lock properly. The door also buckles when it is opened completely. The installers one being a former welder stated the weld spots caused buckling preventing a flush against the frame closure. Along with the first debacle miss-order and 6 week wait for the first door, this "corrected" order and delay from the manufacturer, Unique Home Designs greatly failed on encouraging return customer, but will definitely get a word-of-mouth DO NOT BUY review. We are contacting them for the warranty on manufacturer defects. Two words for this Arcada style "security" door MANUFACTURER DEFECT!
