Rated 5 out of 5Â by OldGal Rich looking medicine cabinet
I was surprised how nice the cabinet was when we received it. It was bigger than our previous one and would mean moving wiring and lights - another expense - but it was so rich looking and added so much to the look of an old bathroom that we went ahead and splurged getting a contractor to do the work instead of doing it ourselves because we don't play with electricity. Plus, I ordered it Saturday night after dinner and it arrived Monday morning! I was shocked.

Rated 2 out of 5Â by SJSnelling Great EXCEPT...Unit Received Had Been Repaired!
This past weekend (02/03/2013) I unboxed the unit and installed it. Went very smoothly, and the item is very nice looking. However (oh, I hate that word) when I went to adjust the door, I noticed the unit had two screws in a couple places where there should have been one. Why? Appears the original screw stripped in the wood due to overtightening. I'd still recommend the unit though I'm going to see what HD will do for me...

Rated 4 out of 5Â by Lovetoshop Wonderful Beautiful & Sturdy!
Wonderful, beautiful piece- I love it! Only downfall is that the upper outer edge has a chip on it that looks like it was covered up with stain. However we hung it up hiigh enough that its almost unoticeable - unless if you were to look for it. Chose not to pay shipping to have it exchanged. Overall I still do love it. Recieved numerous compliments on the piece.

Rated 2 out of 5Â by bill Attractive but lacking
This cabinet and washstand is very attractive until you actually examine them up close (the first cabinet was sent back after shipping damage due to poor packing). The stain and finish appear to be sprayed on as one application. It looks like they were put on a turn table and sprayed at a right angle with no effort to spray to get good coverage on the trim (which would require spraying from a 45 degree angle from the top and bottom). So I had to apply shoe polish on the areas not covered that were light so that it looked uniform. The next step was to refinish the entire cabinet with Deft. This is a bathroom cabinet and wash stand that is constantly exposed to moisture and humidity but there was no attention given to sealing them where they is most vulnerable such as the bottom of the legs and underside where the particle board is exposed. I don't object to particle board being used to manufacture, but the board used for this product has no density to it, it is very soft and porous; left unfinished it will absorb and swell in no time. The doors were given more attention in manufacture but they are mounted in particle board so I think care will have to be used not to put pressure on them. Next time I spend more and hopefully get better products (spent $600.00 plus on both plus 10 hours so far to repair and refinish- haven't installed them yet). A work mate's husband had a similar situation. He bought a washstand and the drawer fell apart when he opened it at home so it returned it with no problems. He bought another and opened the shipping box before he left the store and the same thing happened with the second one. He bought another elsewhere for a lot more money, but at least he didn't have to rebuild it. Don't buy these unless you get them for a really good price and don't mind touching them up at home.
