I was able to just pop lengths of this mesh into my 5" K-style gutters without using the Gutter Guard Girders which are sold separately and won't fit in all of my gutters anyway because of roof overhang. When I easily popped it in it formed a natural arch that will shed leaves and debris and stand up to a few pounds of snow load becuase this mesh is pretty stiff unlike the competing brand. When it comes to roof ice glaciers, well, I'll see what happens (lucky, tornadoes are rare here) but if they don't hold in place I just gotta pop 'em back in. Really they just gotta keep leaves & maple seeds out 3 weeks in autumn, 2 weeks in spring. I recommend this.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by MazFloMo Cost Effective Gutter Screen
With over 300 linear feet of gutter around my home, this product was cost effective to completely cover all of the gutters and was relatively easy to install. I did not purchase the arch support, but simply slid one side under the first row of shingles and then slightly over the edge of the gutter. The screens have remained in place even after a severe thunderstorm. Recommend you have your legs in shape for climbing up and down the ladder many times.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by Clancy Works as advertised
Purchased with the gutter guard girders which made all of the installation possible. The leaves are coming down in earnest now, and seem to be on the outside of the gutters. Hopefully they will blow away! Purchased because CR recommended and none of my neighbors had any experience with gutter guards. So far so good! It will be interesting to see how they work when it snows.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Hank Good product thus far
I installed this myself using the gutter guard girders. I had two sections of gutters, one was 20 feet and the other 22 feet. For the 20 foot section I used a single 20 foot section of gutter guard without cutting into smaller more workable sections as advised in the directions. It was a little more difficult this way but I am glad I did because I did not need to overlap multiple sections. For the 22 foot gutter I used 2 pieces of gutter guard each just a tad over 11 feet so they would overlap in the middle where I made sure I had 1 of the girders to support the overlap. In both sections of gutter I put the 1st girder about 1 foot from the end so the gutter guard would not sag.
So far so good with this product which was highly rated in Consumer Reports. It keeps out the leaves although it seems to catch pine needles.
I strongly suggest buying/using the girders to avoid sagging.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by Woodstock Not bad at all
Before I spend 3-4K on gutter guards I decided to give this stuff a test. For <$100 I did all the gutters on my house. So far it's been working surprisingly well.
I installed it to maintain the same pitch as our roof as opposed to the dome shape with the brackets. The leaves seem to blow off better that way.
I'm sure that the gutters will need a cleaning at least yearly. But I can deal with that much easier than monthly as it has been.
Well worth a try.
