Rated 5 out of 5Â by Gram Fantastic product
I use it many times daily. I was looking for an easy to clean toilet without all the tubes and such on the outside to catch grime. This one is smooth sides, has a flat top, has hidden bolts and water supply and is a little higher than most. I love it's ease of installation. I am 70 and my granddaughter is 21. Together we took the old one out and had the new one in within an hour. We did have to go buy a new water supply hose because the old one was too short. The wax ring came with the toilet.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by DFTW HOW TO TIGHTEN OR REALIGN SEAT
I have seen review after review that says you have to uninstall this toilet before you can adjust the seat, but that simply isn't true. You will need an allen wrench. (Mine aren't marked, but as best I can tell, I used a 5/32.) Follow these instructions if y our seat is loose or needs to be realigned:
1) Raise the lid and the seat.
2) Press and hold in the silver button on the bottom of the seat and lift the seat unit off the pins.
3) Remove the round covers from the pins.
4a) If the seat was aligned properly before removal, simply tighten allen bolts, replace covers, and pop the seat back onto the pins till you hear a click.
4b) If the seat was not aligned properly, loosen the allen bolts and change the positions of the pins.Once pins are in the correct position for proper alignment, tighten allen bolts, replace covers, and pop the seat back onto the pins till you hear a click.
Don't let all the crazy reviews about having to remove the toilet mislead you. Trust me, this is an easy fix. I am a 65-year-old woman, and I had no problems doing this job at all.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by catlady Nice looking but...........
About 3 weeks after this was installed I had a problem with the sewer line. Because the tank only uses 1.26 gal. of water, there was not enough water to completely flush the toilet. I had to get a plumber to clean out the sewer line. He adjusted the water intake so the tank filled up just below the handle. I had to change T.paper to Scott. and hold down handle to get a complete flush. Since then I have had no problems. These "efficiency" toilets are anything but as it sometimes takes two flushes to get the job done. I don't know if it was really worth changing out my old one. Now it moves and I don't know how to tighten it down. Any help would be appreciated.

Nice look. We have a square kind of theme in our bathroom so this fit with it. Good quick, powerful flush that doesn't use a ton of water. Seat is not the most comfortable but it does have the soft close feature which is nice. We have a Toto toilet in our other bathroom and it is much nicer but also much more expensive. I think this a good toilet for the money. Happy with it.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by dcline Great Toilet with Everything Needed for Installation
I went out and purchased a wax ring kit because I didn't realize that all parts necessary for installation are included in the box. The wax ring and bolts included are definitely better quality and easier to use than the complete installation kit I purchased separately, which is definitely a pleasant surprise. The included instructions are also well written and easy to follow. The internal components also feel well made and durable, so much so that I went ahead and used them over the dual flush kit that I had purchased separately.
I would give ease of installation 5 stars except for size of the cutouts where the toilet is tightened onto the bolts, which were just too small for my hands. I was able to get my hands in by removing the plastic rings that hold the covers in place, but I then discovered that these rings are very difficult to reinstall once removed. In the end, I was able to hand tighten the toilet sufficiently, and finally was able to get the plastic rings and covers in place. This was an unnecessary inconvenience, especially right at the end of installation, but not insurmountable.
The other challenge I encountered during installation was the length of my water supply line, which was about 1" too short to connect to the new toilet. The existing line was 12" and the next size up at my local Home Depot was 20", so I created a loop and found this worked perfectly. If you are replacing a toilet that sits lower to ground, you may want to go ahead and buy the next size up to have on hand during installation, as the comfort height does require 2-3" of extra length.
Once installed, I absolutely love the height and shape of the bowl. It is great that the base is smooth and doesn't have the crevases that were so impossible to keep clean on the old toilet. Definitely a plus with dogs and a baby in the house, as the bolt caps on the old toilet had unfortunately become a favored chew toy in our house.
I was initially surprised by the plastic seat, as our toilets have always had the traditional heavy seats and lids. However the plastic feels very strong and durable, even under the weight of my 250+ lbs, and really does not feel cheap or fragile after several weeks of use. The soft close feature is nice, and the plastic seat is not nearly as cold in the middle of the night as the one on our old toilet.
Overall, it is a huge step up from the toilets that came with our house, both in terms of comfort and ease of cleaning, and is quite a good value since all necessary parts and installation components are included and seem to be of excellent quality. I can't wait to upgrade the toilet in our guest bathroom, and only wish I'd realized sooner how much more comfortable and affordable a better toilet really is!
