CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 131 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by great buy Within an hour of installing my room went from an uncomfortable 90 to a relaxing 64. I'm loving it, lazy.. oh yeah, no problem a remote is included with your ice box. No more getting up or asking your spouse to turn the fan speed down. It's so simple to install anyone can do it. July 12, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Nice Humidity removal and cooling I live South Carolina, have all my life. The winters are wonderful but the summer humidity is an issue, though less than Louisianna ! This AC unit has a humidity removal "only" setting - very nice. The eco-mode, and AC works perfectly in an up-stairs setting as well, i.e. heat rises to the highest point wherever. One downside; straight forward direction of airflow only, left to right direction of airflow is adjustable. Remote control and worked perfectly straight out of the box. You only get approximately 6 foot of cord length from the factory. Buy a 15 amp extension cord if needed, not a common 13 amp. May 6, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by super nice small room a/c replaced a 5000 btu with this 6000 btu,, has alot more cooling and fan blower power,, and is alot quieter when compressor comes on,, easy installation .. April 30, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent quality and value! This air conditioner cost me about $160 and my landlord was able to install it for me. It took him about 15 minutes max. I have had it for about 2 months. I live in Memphis where the summers hold highs from about 95-100 for 3 whole months and high humidity. So far, this little unit has done the job and kept me more than comfortable in my bedroom!! My bedroom is pretty large, and is on the second floor so heat is worse than if I were on the first. I have a big unit in the living room, and a very old unit about the same size in the other bedroom. I love the energy saver option where the air will cut off when the desired temp has been reached. You can't beat the value for this prouct. I recommend it to anyone and have nothing negative to say about it!!!! June 11, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Love it! I'm very happy with this A/C. Pros: Low Noise: One of the most important things for me when looking for an A/C was noise level, as this was being installed in a bedroom. Not just the noise when the compressor is on, as you can get used to that, but the noise when the compressor kicks in (you know, the rough "Ke-Doinnggg" noise which wakes you just as you are nodding off..). What convinced me to give it a try was that one of the other reviewers here said it had a quiet compressor kick-in. I have to agree 100%. It's the quietest kick-in I've ever heard. It's also quiet when running and there's hardly any vibration. There's really not much difference in noise whether the compressor is on or off. Another nice feature (again for noise) is that the drain pan comes pre-drilled for a drainage hose. Many A/Cs allow the condensate to pool in the pan and be picked up by a "swisher ring" which gives you that annoying "swishing" sound on rainy or humid days. ("Swishing" supposedly improves efficiency). With this you can simply remove the plug from the drain hole to allow the condensate drip out - no swishing! (or you can use the included hose adapter and attach a piece of hosing to drain it). No issues with cooling performance or remote control operation. On/Off timer - you can set it to turn on or off after a no of hours... "Dry" mode - a dehumidifying mode where the fan stops and starts with the compressor. (I never used it.) Cons: Fan direction: It only directs air Left and Right - no Up/Down No Sleep mode: Many A/Cs now come with a "sleep" mode where, over a period of 8 hours, the a/c automatically adjusts the set temp up a few degrees while you are sleeping, and then lowers it again in the half hour or so before you wake. This does NOT have it... Overall: Good price, Low noise, Great performance, High efficiency, Recognized brand name. I have no problem recommending this... June 22, 2012
