The entry level model in the brush master chipper shredder family, this chipper comes with a 6.5 HP engine. This innovative chipper is designed with an adjustable deflector. The deflector provides multiple angles that can discharge directly into a container or garbage can or a standard outdoor trash can so there is no need for bagging. Self feeds and chips up to 2.25 in. diameter branches, turning yard waste into useful 1/4 in. mulch. Transforms 12 bags of yard waste into 1 bag of chips. Ideal for small weekend jobs and yard clean up. Highly portable and maneuverable.

  • Transforms 2.25 in. x 3 in. dia. branches and debris into 1/4 in. chips
  • 2-Way feed; side chute and over sized top funnel for leaves
  • 6.5 HP, 208 cc engine with automatic low oil shutdown
  • Top sloped funnel prevents chipper overloading, enhances durability, and protects the operator
  • Environmentally responsible: transforms 12 bags of yard waste into 1 bag of chips
  • Two hardened steel cutting blade and 6 hammers for chipping efficiency
  • Discharge chute has adjustable deflector (allows multiple angles to feed into container or garbage can or a standard outdoor trash can) - No need for bagging
  • Solid heavy gauge steel construction for durability
  • Only minimal assembly required

Rated 3.6 out of 5 by 18 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good value for the money A nice entry level chipper/shredder. Sets up in about half an hour. The 2 1'2 inlet for branches is a bit small . One needs to cut them up first as most have crooks in them that exceed that limit.. I bought it primarily to shred leaves for my compost pile. I point the discharge chute into a landscape barrel which works good for me. Without the barrel it blows the shredded leaves all over the place. Especially if there is a wind. The leaf hopper takes small sticks and loose vegetation . The key here is to have them small enough so they don't jamb up the hopper. The only downside that I could see is that it is hard to pull start. This is due to the blades being connected to a heavy flywheel. If you are strong enough though it usually starts on one pull. For this reason I wouldn't recommend this product for most retired folks. July 22, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Only for experienced users The instructions stressed the importance of putting oil in the machine before using but did not show where to put the oil in. It took me a while to find the unmarked oil plug hidden under the wood chute. Also suggest clear and safe instructions in the manual for clearing jams in the wood chute starting with unplugging the spark plug and unbolting the chute to clear it. I would only recommend this product to people I know are mechanically inclined. June 17, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by As advertised The assembly took a little longer than advertised, but was relatively easy. The engine started easily, and branches fed in easily. July 3, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Chop's great Read the reviews about assembly & filling of oil, took my time all went well. Was sorry when I ran out of branch's to feed it. Have to cut down some more dead tree's! July 22, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by No joy Hard to assemble. Parts not identified clearly. No instructions for air filter (?) Gas leaked from unit. Could not get it started. Not sure what the problem is. August 26, 2014
