Just put my first two out of four windows in. I'm giving them a 5 star because of the quality for the price. They aren't aesthetically gorgeous. . .I'd love to have done casement windows, but these are such a better value. They form a tight seal when closed, the screen is good (though I can't figure out how to remove it). Shipping was good, and you can use the wood in the packaging to shim and fill any gaps. The best thing is knowing these are absolutely weatherproof, and you can see the low-e coating if you look at them from outside at the right angle (looking up toward the sky at dusk) - the coating is not visible in most conditions, but I like to know that it really is there! I can put my hand next to the window in the sunshine and not feel heat coming through, that's great.

Rated 2 out of 5Â by Rick very leaky
Bought two of these for a winter test (northern Ohio) and found them to be very leaky. They were installed perfectly with lots of insulation around the frame. The leaks are at the vinyl frame. If there
are any leaks the E3 glass and argon becomes worthless.

For the budget friendly window replacement, these are great. They install easily and function as expected. They are priced reasonably and I would recommend anyone who is looking to replace their old storm windows.

Good quality, light, easy to install. We have vinyl siding, so it wasn't too tough to pop of the vinyl and install the new-construction windows. Remember window tape, and there is a little bit of extra plastic on each corner that I had to cut back to fit brick mold snugly around the window. Check the box and unwrap completely when they arrive, I did get one broken window which held up the project for a week, but HD replaced completely.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Grandpa What a buy
I almost didn't order these because of some of the negative reviews. I don't agree with them as these windows seem to be excellent for the price. I was going buy them locally where I could look at them first, but they seem to be sold online only. They were packed individually in strong wood cases and so far, all have been in excellent shape. We are installing these windows as replacement windows on a house that had aluminum storms as the only window ever installed. I have installed 3 of the 10 windows so far and they go in easily and look good. I caution that the sizes listed online are not the size you will receive. A 32 by 52 window will be 31 3/8 by 51 1/4 as is listed right on the window with the flanges reaching to 35 by 55. Our rough openings were almost too large, but the wide flanges allowed us to use the openings as they were. We are definitely happy with these windows.
