PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The Makita 9031 variable speed belt sander is compact and lightweight (4.6 pounds) for use in close quarters. The belt speed can be adjusted between 656 and 3,280 ft/min for use with a wide variety of materials and the narrow belt and exposed front pulley make working in confined spaces or on irregular shapes an experience in maneuverability. The Makita 9031 Belt Sanders ball and needle bearing construction ensure smooth operation and long tool life. The multi-position side handle makes for easy and comfortable operation, and the lock-on button makes extended use a breeze. Also available is a connecting dust collector for a grit-free work environment.
