I bought these blinds 5 years ago; 4 out of 6 have already broken... At first, I thought it was a glitch, so I replaced several. They've all broken in the same place. (Equally inexpensive ones from another company lasted decades.) At approx. $30. apiece, I'm out around $120. and it's not over... there are a few more shades that I now expect to fail. The company will not replace them.

Rated 1 out of 5Â by slnhn Bad brackets... nightmare to install
I have installed three different brands of blinds, and the Bali brand is the most difficult, aggravating, and problematic. First, the directions do not provide much detail, and it was hard figuring out which way the brackets should mount to the wall.
After I finally figured that out, getting the blind to snap into position was aggravating to say the least. The blind fits into the rear of the bracket but the front wouldn't snap without a lot of hassle. I think the blind bent a little from the twisting and turning that it took to snap it into position.
About twenty minutes of sweating, swearing, and wishing you would have bought a different brand, you might finally get them into place, but not before some scrapes of the paint off the wall and possibly some bent blinds. Again, these brackets are horrible.
You know what? The best brand I've installed so far were the Walmart Mainstays brand. Second best was the 2" faux wood blinds from Home Depot.
And yes, I had the brackets lined up nicely. I've done this before. It's just that these brackets are so poorly designed that I'll bet the Marketing Department was rolling its eyes when the engineers demanded these brackets. I thought Bali blinds would be easy to install because it looked like a good brand. Boy was I wrong.

Rated 3 out of 5Â by Kevin Reasonably Priced but Instructions Lacking
I bought these in my local Home Depot. They cut them to size perfectly and they look okay for the price and work nice for my office window; however, the included instructions are very cryptic. There are single sentences, very short ones, and poor illustrations. They could at least refer you to a website with better instructions.
