I bought this light kit a couple of weeks ago, installed in about 20 minutes with no issues. the 75ft of cable was more than enough for my small patio area.
The lights look great, they're really bright especially the spotlights as you can see from the photo. I wouldn't recommend them for a small area like I have, but i'm still very happy with the purchase. I went with the LED's because they last forever and don't use much electricity.
The various timer settings are really cool too. You can set for 4, 6, 8 hours or dusk to dawn setting. The power supply is small and doesn't take up very much space.
They seem to be good quality as they are metal vs. many of the plastic ones on the market.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by DesertFlyer Nice looking but too much glare - poor design
This is an expensive kit in the store but looks very stylish. The quality is very good with nice gray metal and glass. Have only had installed for a week so can't speak to longevity. Easy to install. My main gripes are the glare and the small 20 Watt transformer. The bright spot lights have nice looking side glass but that also makes the LED visible and causes great glare if located next to a walk path. I solved this by removing the glass lens and wrapping it with black electrical tape...not an elegant solution but functional. The path lights look nice but again the visible LEDs cause glare. The designer should have mounted the LED in the top and aimed downward. Plus I had to buy an upgrade transformer in order to attach two more lights.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by radarjeff Surprisingly bright lighting
I bought this outdoor light set to replace a Malibu incandescent set. The light housings are well constructed and attractive. The transformer unit is compact and works well. My only complaint concerns the electrical cable included with the unit. When I connected the first light fixture, it did not turn on. Thinking it was defective, I connected another light fixture with the same result, so I began troubleshooting. I first checked my electrical outlet with a lamp to make sure it was receiving power; it was. Then I dug up the cable I had buried to make sure that I had not accidentally pierced it with with a lighting stake. No, I hadn't. Next I removed the transformer from the wall and checked the wire connections. They were fine. Thinking the transformer may have been defective, I hooked up my old Malibu lighting transformer to the new wiring. The lights still didn't work. Finally, I discovered the problem: the insulation on the two-conductor cable that came with the kit was too thick. The pointed tabs of the Fast Lock II connectors were not reaching the stranded wire. My solution: at the connection point for each of the six lights, I carefully filed down the thickness of the wire insulation sufficiently for the Fast Lock tabs to make contact with the wire. The thickness of the insulation was a Malibu-Brinkmann quality control oversight. As a result of the troubleshooting and insulation shaving, installation took me considerably longer than it should have.

Rated 3 out of 5Â by FredMc POWER PACK LASTED ONLY 2 YEARS
Have had the lights installed 2 years. As another reviewer noted, the walk lights have rusted in every corner. The worst is that after 2 years the power pack failed. Other than at an online auction site,I haven't been able to find a replacement. Everything is too many watts. I finally bought one at the auction site.
Malibu's 120 watt power pack (not usable with this set) has a setting for "Auto On, Timed Off" meaning the lights go on with the photo electric eye (at dusk) and they turn off at a specified time. This would be really nice! Leaving the lights on for 4 hours after dusk is fine in the winter, but they stay on way too late in the summer.

This is my fourth home I have installed outdoor lighting at ... so I'm not a rookie.
The price for these is fair, the installation is clean and simple.
The Design is pretty, heavy metal versus the plastic in many other types.
The problem with these is after 3 days (3 I say) they have already started rusting in the corners ... all of them, every corner. Apparently the manufacturer didn't take "outdoor" into consideration during the manufacturing process. Either the screws aren't galvanized, or the metal isn't completely painted. Either way - beautiful product, I just didn't want to have to pull everything back up in a year when it was completely rusted out.
