I use this compressor for minor cabinetry and trim carpentry tasks; it is light and durable and exactly what I wanted.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by OldOllie 135 PSI Porter Cable Air Compressor
Purchased this unit for a house remodel project and am about 50% done. Due to arthritis in my wrists I can no longer use a hammer and use this compressor with a palm driver. This reason I bought this particular unit is because my son has had this make and model for several years and has used and abused it. He leaves his unit in the back of a pickup constantly irregardless of the climate and it still functions. I am extremely satisfied with the performance of this compressor and would highly recommend it to anybody who is in the market for one.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by MountainBikeGuy Good value overall but top heavy
This is my first air compressor. I bought it to seat mountain tubeless mountain bike tires. I liked its relatively quiet compressor, small size and light weight but that weight comes with a price: it tips over fairly easily. The first time I used it outside, I pulled too hard on it, and it rolled over and scratched the gauge rings. They're both fine, but, if this happens too often, the gauges will be broken. Lowe's has a 200psi, 2 gallon Blue Hawk compressor that seems a bit less prone to tipping, but the capacity is lower.
I added a Flexzilla 25 foot hose (from Amazon) and a Husky 12-Piece Brass Air-Compressor Accessory Kit, both of which I love.
Overall, this is a great value and should last a long time. It seems to get some of the better reviews here and on Amazon.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by mattintexas I got more than what I paid for
I bought mine about 4 years ago as a kit and then bought the 16g straight finish nailer to install a hardwood floor and all the appearance trim. The compressor has not faultered, although I did replace the relief as the threads wore out. The compressor still holds its pressure and charges quickly (although very loud). Regarding the nailer, I shot approximately 11,000 nails while installing the floor and had less than 5 misfires. I consider that reliable. If either break, I'll happily buy another one.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Cjqix Excellent item especially at this price
I have used the Porter cable cpancake type compressors before (owned by others) and always wanted one but could not afford one. The price came down on these just as the compressor I was using failed so I purchased one online. It was deliverdby UPS, no damage in shippng and I went through the break in recomended by opening the water drain valve on the bottom and running it with no pressure build up for 15 minutes.
I then let it sit for 1/2 half hour cooling off then I closed the valve and started using it. Works perfectly, no leaks, very quiet compared to others in this class and it's 26 pound weight makes it easy to carry to 3rd floor jobs.
