Rated 5 out of 5Â by REYNOLDSWRAP0 Best "real" icicle lights out there
We like these icicles best - the pattern is calm and lends some animation to your exterior display. I hung them with the actual LED bulbs facing back towards the house, so the light seen from the street is gentler and you don't see the individual LEDs themselves as they "drip" down. This actually created a great effect above our garage door that looks like the Northern Lights!
These are a great supplement to the lights we strung along the roofline. My only qualm is they can be a little heavy to hang if you're placing them other than along the gutter or shingle edge. When we hung them inside our arch we ended up just mounting some open cable clamps on the inside of the arch instead of trying to support them on the small soffit lip in the ceiling. Very easy to hang this way, though, as long as you wouldn't mind the permanent hooks.

Rated 3 out of 5Â by Libsmom This look wont be cheap...
love the look of the falling icicles, but in order to do this you will need many sets. definatley a better deal to buy the kit than buying seperately, the set of led mini lights are a waste, not enough to use with set. after returning 1st kit Bcause one set of icicles wasnt working and figuring that to hang these around my whole house was gonna be alot more than i planned i decided to hang "reg icicles" blue and white around the whole house (different brand)then 3 sets of "shooting star" icicles on each corner of the front of my house. I made it look like the icicles are comming down from the corners. looks good and save me some $. these lights are pretty but not cheap and you will need alot of them. Good luck :)

Rated 4 out of 5Â by cass Have to buy lots of em..this wasn't just a black friday special
I bought 4 boxes of these combo sets to line my gutters. I have to buy 1 more individual set (at $25 ea) (maybe i might as well get another combo box!) because I didn't calculate properly..you won't be stretching them completely out and if you have to wrap around part of the side of the house to reach an outlet you'll need more feet than what is stated on the box. The regular lights that come with it aren't the same # of feet as the icicles..i don't like that the few lights that' sparkle' look like the bulbs are out when the fade in and out it's a very slow fade not a fast sparkle. but very bright and a nice compliment to the icicles. I think the quality of the icicles are good..probably better than what you'd find at walmart..i thought i'd have to wake up at 5am on black friday to get this advertised combo pack..but they are still for sale at this price..much better deal than buying them individually. Lets hope they stay on the clips.

Rated 1 out of 5Â by USMC0341 Not good for cold/windy climates
The icicles are attached by two very small wires. Where I live (Utah) it gets pretty cold in the winter and the wires become very stiff/frozen. Combine that with a little wind and they were snapping off left and right. By the end of the holiday season half of the icicles had broken off. They looked great though until they broke! I would only by these for warmer mild climates.

Rated 2 out of 5Â by Aka2much Ok if your budget for Xmas lights is limited
Disappointed with my purchase. The lights all work but the set should of had one more string of starry night LEDs. Cuz it comes with 25 ft. Of shooting stars LEDs and only 15 ft of starry night LEDs. So I had to buy a string of the starry night LEDs for $25. So the lights would look like the videos. I could of bought the programmable ones with remote if I add $15 to what I spent already. Honestly lights are boring, expected more. Regret not buying the programmable one.
