We connected three tracks together with the track connectors. When installing the track heads, pay attention to the side with one pin vs two pin; they can be installed backwards and then will not work. The only gripe about the product - each track head comes with two labels, which require use of charcoal lighting to get all of the goo off the fixture (very time consuming).

Rated 4 out of 5Â by Newlys A good looking fixture for quality spot lighting
We love the look of this track light. It has a clean design and could easily fit in most homes. Our only issue is that it's definitely good for high quality, bright LED spot lighting, but it doesn't diffuse light well throughout the room. I assume most customers buying track lights are looking for spot lighting so this shouldn't be a problem. We just had to add a floor lamp in the room. Overall, a great buy!

Rated 4 out of 5Â by Lagarto Dimmable if you don't mind a buzzing noise
Don't get me wrong, I love the light from these track heads. However, I installed a LUTRON DIVA dimmer, and there was a distinct buzz. Not so loud that a window unit air conditioner wouldn't drown it out - but loud enough that I said "forget the dimmer, these get a regular switch".
I own about 12 sets of these, none are on dimmers because of the noise. I even thought "hey, those magnetic dimmers might cut the buzz". I was wrong, and had to return a special order LUTRON DIVA MAGNETIC DIMMER. Annoying, but still great light.

My sister wanted to turn a dimly lit hallway into a gallery. Track was the logical solution. I pushed for LED. We couldnât decide between LED light bulb track heads or fixtures with LEDs built in. When my sister said she wanted easy-to-dust fixtures I immediately selected this kit. $33 per head with LED already inside. Included track and feed makes this a great buy. Iâve designed a lot of track heads and this is one of the purest, simplest designs made. The fixtures are elegantly egg-shaped and are not the least bit slighted by the comparison.
The light is a crisp white with no blue tint, the beam pattern a narrow flood, and glare at the front of the fixture is reduced because the LED chip is deeply recessed in the reflector. We were planning to add some pendants for some down light but were pleasantly surprised to find the track heads can be aimed perfectly straight down and still look great.
The floating feed is the same basic design used by all the major brands. A really old j-box required me to drill a couple new holes in the mounting plate, a not uncommon experience. I agree the instructions, especially the line drawings need improvementâ¦.not unusual. If you mount the floating feed connector into the track, hold it up to the ceiling box for a bit, the logic of the install should become quite clear. A âdry runâ is always a smart strategy.
Six track heads using a total of 32.4 watts of power (equivalent to one MR16 halogen light bulb) gave the same light as about 240 watts of incandescent. My sisterâs art is very well lit and the dimmable feature also allows her to create softer mood lighting at night. Sheâs quite pleased. My home and office are next.

Rated 3 out of 5Â by LitUp6 Not that dimmable
Don't buy this for its dimmable feature. Since the LED lights don't slurp up much energy, it barely dims. And when it does, it jumps to a slightly lower level of light. After first trying this with a dimmable light switch, I opted to go with a switch that's not dimmable. The result: The brightest is brighter than on a dimmable switch.
If you don't mind the poor dimmability, the lights are great. I have them installed as task lighting in the kitchen.
