Bought this faucet as part of updating my kitchen to granite countertops, new sink and new backsplash. I read many, many reviews about touch faucets before deciding on this brand and model. I love this faucet and wish I had it a long time ago. One thing I particularly like about this faucet is the separate handle. Many reviewers complained about the handles being so close to the granite backsplash that your knuckles hit the granite. This handle is longer and sticks up over the granite. I don't have any issues hitting the backsplash. Another reviewer complaint was the water force was so hard it splashed up. I haven't had that problem. The pull out spout sprays the sink and easily pushes back into the spout. I like the dual spray/single stream option on the head. The pressure is strong, but not too much to splash. The backsplash & back edge of the sink stays cleaner because you don't have dripping hands turning water on & off. You just touch the faucet. The profile is very sleek. The newer faucets with the handle on the stem appear deformed to me. Those faucet handles would hit the backsplash. I paid $375 for the faucet and it's worth every penny. I had a professional install the faucet, so I can't comment on the installation. I'd recomment this faucet.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Bill The touch feature on this faucet is so cool!
My wife and I did a lot of research on faucets before we decided on the Pilar. We are so happy with our decision, the convenience of being able to just tap the spout and have it turn on or off is amazing. I don't know how we managed without it. The other great feature that I love is that it turns off automatically after 4 minutes! No more accidental over flows.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by RRTXHomeowner Touch faucet is an excellent addition to our kitchen...
Wife and I have been looking at these for quite some time. Settled on this faucet. It arrived ahead of predicted schedule. Installation was easy with basic tools. Installed on granite countertop with under-mount stainless sink. Instructions were clear and easy to follow.
Operationally it works great, touch-on/touch-off. There is a little learning curve to get used to the faucet activating when you just want to move the head out of the way but if you move by the spray head or grab and hold the faucet neck, you can move it without the water coming on. When we have company though, people try to use the traditional valve handle so they will shut off the faucet with the valve so the next person who tries to just use touch, no water comes out. Not a big deal but after years of traditional faucets people don't expect to not use the traditional handle.
The only downside is the high cost.

We upgraded to this faucet during our kitchen remodel. Arctic SS finish matched our new SS appliances. My wife is a germaphobe and the touch-on/off feature provides peace-of-mind when handling raw fish/meat. It is also useful when carrying an infant around with messy hands. The pull-down sprayer locks back into place with a strong magnet. Our previous faucet was certainly not build to this level of quality.

Rated 3 out of 5Â by Dave Looks great, but the Touch2O technology isn't quite ready for prime time
We bought this faucet because we liked the look and size and the design worked with the sink we were installing. And we're happy with all of those things.
The Touch2O feature wasn't a driving factor for us. It turns out that it's cool, but 'glitchy' in the way it works. For example, if we're using the sink and the water is running, and we want to adjust the temperature, when we touch the handle to adjust the temperature the water turns off. Not a huge deal - touch it again and it turns on but a bit of an irritation. A bigger irritant that has just started to occur - when the dishwasher is running, the faucet sometimes won't turn on. Touch it and the LED lights up indicating the faucet should be on - but no water comes out. It's an intermittent problem - has happened twice. The most recent time I disconnected the battery pack and reconnected it to reset the solenoid valve and it started working. But as I said it's kind of 'glitchy' - the best word I can think of.
It would be nice to just be able to disable the Touch2O feature and have it turn on/off like a normal faucet, but I haven't figured out how to do that, yet.
