Installation was easy (except for my 61 year old knees). The 12 mm boards are very sturdy compared to the cheaper 7 mm boards that I had used in another room. They snap together well and the Raintree Acacia is a great color. My wife is happy with the finished product and that is what really matters. I have also installed this material in my living room about 6 months ago and it is holding up well even with the heavy traffice of coming in and out the front door. I did the installation by myself. Hint - when you get a few rows of laminate down, get a couple of small pillows for your knees, lay out a lot of boards and then just slide around on the new laminate to lay the other boards. Much better than using knee pads.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by David Looking Very good!
It is very nice looking. Just a little bit dark but it still very good. It is very cheap for 12mm thick laminate.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Jonathan Great value and nice appearance.
For the price per SF I chose to purchase and install the TrafficMaster Raintree Acacia laminate flooring after comparing other options and materials. I chose this laminate for a small home office. Once installed the flooring looks very good and looks like you paid more for it. In other words, product quality and appearance was more than I expected from this flooring.
One point on installation is that these laminates are over 51" in length so you may think that means a easier install....hardly. Getting each of these long planks clicked in across entire board and tapping into next plank can be a little cumbersome but can be done by a DIY individual. I recommend using a miter saw and not cut these yourself if you think a jigsaw or hand saw will do it. You may could get away with it but these cuts need to be made well or laminate will splinter off taking finish with it so be careful.
Use a good underlayment pad and be sure floor is level and clear of any and all staples, debris etc and it will make installing less frustrating than it needs to be.
Overall, a nice looking floor that has the appearance that you paid more for it. Looks great and I'd recommend considering it.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Mike The product was easy to work with.
Initially, placing the first few rows was tough since the planks were not sticking together easy. Eventually, I got the knack of placing them down after talking to a professional, and the rest was very easy. The shipping of the planks was fast, and nothing was damaged.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by NotJustMansWork Great value for beautiful floors!!
The floors look great! You will be able to see some dust and small scuffs on them because they are dark, but really it isn't too bad if you clean them regularly and have rugs down. Definitely worth it for the rich color. The pattern is really nice, the sheen looks good and not too shiny. They are a little slippery but I think it's getting less slippery with time. I like the length of the boards, made it easy to not have repeating patterns in the floor and look more real. I'm just all around impressed with the quality for the price. This was my first time installing floors but it wasn't too hard once I got a groove going. People couldn't believe I installed them myself. My only complaint is the transition pieces were a little pricey and not long enough. I would make sure to mix up the boxes of flooring, I'm glad I did this because I think there are very slight variations in the color in different boxes I really think that helped make sure the color was more even throughout. Floors felt good, look great, and such a great value. And I loved that I didn't have to order the floors, they were in stock along with matching transition pieces at my local store.
