Rated 5 out of 5 Some work but extremely satisfied
Why we chose this product:
We had a living room which had switched outlets for lighting. We chose these lights because they could be installed in 4 inch J-Boxes which allowed easier installation with minimal hole space into the attic compared to can lights. Our living room is 19' x 14' and we installed 8 lights (4 lights on each side of the living room spaced about 58" apart and 28" from the walls). The reason we chose 28" from the wall is so they would be positioned near the outside edge of the couch and provide good lighting position for reading. We were skeptical of the quality of lighting before installation.
We used the "Old Work" circular J-Boxes (18 cu in) and it was tight wiring but with 14 gauge wiring and 6-8 inch pigtails I was able to fit everything into the boxes. We bought the 4 1/8 inch hole saw and this was perfect for installation. You need to bend the medal brackets up to the ceiling in order to get a snug fit to the ceiling. Tip: ensure you don't cut a whole into a joist or rafter.
The light is more than adequate (8 lights for 260+ sq ft). We are more than thrilled with the quality of light, dimming, and appearance. I'll check back in if they last 30+ years.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Barry LED is the lighting of the future, great product
LED is the lighting of the future, great product. On value they are competitive with incandescent or CFL if installed with a 4â junction box otherwise it is a little pricey with a recess can. In the installation paper they show installation in a 4â round âJâ box so before I left the store I tried to verify this and found that the only box I could use was a old work plastic deep 4â square with sheet rock tabs. All the other boxes didnât have enough space inside to fit the electronics in. For new work the deep 4â round or square plastic or metal should work. Take the time to verify this before leaving the store.
Instant (slight delay) bright on beats CFLs
You know the story on incandescent.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by LtDan Best Lighting Product Sold By Homedepot
This product has many applications. I have installed these lights in my kitchen and garage. In the kitchen these lights give the apperance of a complete remodel after installation. In the garage this light is comparable in pricing to florencent lights, with no ballest, bulbs to clean or replace and great in cold weather and with 35,000 hour life. Since instaling the lights in my garage a few of my friends have also install them and love the lights. (installed on 8' centers for daylight lighting) Since the light draws only 0.3Amps 14ga wire is good for the lighting circut and allows for suffent room in any 2 1/8" deep work box. The lights can also be installed in a 4"x4"x2 1/8" work boxes using the outside holes on the mounting bar. With the damp location rating the light is very good for finished porch ceilings and basements with low head clearance. Takes about 5 minutes to install with good DIY skills. When using work boxes metal boxes allow for faster installation. Use 2 1/8" deep box and box extentions if you need more room to wire. Westinghouse old work boxes with adjustable tension bar to cieling joist makes for a easy install with just a 4" hole through ceiling plaster.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by JWMN Outstanding LED Lamps - Dimming is another story
The lamps are great. Easy to install in 5" and 6" cans. Still expensive compared to incandescant and CFL but the lamp color quality is pure white. They are bright and need a dimmer in some applications. DO NOT purchase the LED/CFL dimmers from Lutron or Leviton as they DO NOT work. I tried (3) dimmer types and found that the Lutron Lutron DVW-603-PG worked OK. They give range of about 30% to 100% without any buzz or noticiable flicker. I have (4) on a single dimmer and (2) on a second dimmer and all of the lamps respond uniformly to the reduced power settings. Even at full power, the lamps are essentially cool to the touch. The only downside is negligible as the lamps take about a quarter second to light up when turned on. The come on at full brightness and do not need any additional warm up time.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Bill Easy Installation
I needed a new trim ring for 2 recessed lights on my porch. I also wanted to switch to LED bulbs. The Commercial Electric 6 in. LED Disc Light provided both items a less than the cost of them individually. Installation took only 5 minutes. Excellent light and very nice appearance.
