Rated 4 out of 5Â by engineerchris Pretty good so far
Just bought this at home depot. Right out of the box, this mower looked realy good. Unfolded it, put the battery and key in and it started right up. I was able to do my front yard, which is by no means huge, with only about 1/4 charge on the battery right out of the box.
It definitely doesn't have the same cutting power as my gas mower, but that's to be expected. The nice part is no pull start and VERY low vibration compared to the gas. That's good since my shoulder is messed up and pull starting the gas mower was really hurting. My lawn isn't huge here in the city so this does the job perfectly. I'll be surprised if I even need to break out the second battery to get both the front and back done.
It will be interesting to see how it works on grass that has been allowed to grow a little longer than normal though. It might take a couple passes at varying heights to get through it. Also be interesting to see how it handles (if it can) wet grass.

We recently downsized to a smaller home with only a small patch of lawn. My gas powered mower seemed a bit of overkill therefore wanted a smaller, lighter mower preferably battery operated. Owning several lithium battery power tools, which are excellent, I chose this model. Unfortunately when assembling out of the box I couldn't get the handles to lock onto the mower. On closer inspection it seemed the nuts were seated in the wrong slot making it impossible for the clamps to work. My choice at this point was to either return the mower (1/2 hour drive) or fix it myself. After a bit of a struggle removing the plastic cowling I was able to reach the nuts which had been jammed into place outside of the proper location (factory?). Fortunately no damage done and once seated properly was able to lock the handle. The mower works well, is quiet and handles easily. Battery charge is adequate and recharge as with most Lithium batteries is relatively quick. So far pleased with the product except for the glitch. I plan to let the store/sales associate know on my next visit.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by Lamprologus Good for small lawns
Good light weight mower for small lawns. Medium size 1/4 acre would require three batteries fully charged.
Uneven cutting. Availability of replacement batteries could be a potential problem in Canada.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by sucker4electric Review for 20" just released mower, not 16"
This is the review for just released 20" mower. It has a brushless motor and it is 4" wider.
Summary - It' great, I would recommend it. Will it last more than 5 years without need of repair? I doubt it, but I don't care.
This may be long. It starts with the 48V mower they sold 3 years ago. I would give it a 3 stars. Didn't quite cut as good as I want. It is heavy, but the wheels drive, so that wasn't too bad (except that I wanted it to go faster). It also (3 year old mower), has lead acid battery. I stored it indoors every year. I thought I stored it fully charged, but alas, this year it is dead. I can tell you, my significant other wasn't impressed. I pushed to buy the cordless mower, and after 3 years, it cost me $150 a year. To make matters worse, I can't seem to find the replacement battery for sale in my city or online. So it's pretty much a write off. I think someone at home depot after reading this full review should send me one for free so that I can sell it to someone else.
New Mower (June 1, 2014) - So with that as a back drop, I some how managed to convince my wife to let me buy the new 20" cordless mower. I'm not sure how that happened, it will be my fathers day present to myself though.
If this fails, I'm not sure what will happen :)
-Starts without pulling
-40V batteries can be used for other tools
-If you register it, you will get 5 year warranty on mower and 3 year on batteries (I suggest you register)
-Extremely low maintenance, that is what I love.
-Plasticy (My guess, I will need the warranty - but I don't care)
-If you use the bag regularly, my guess is that it will break on the mower where it attaches (Once again, I don't care, get the 5 year warranty and I usually don't use the bag)
-Wheels seem a little flimsy
Overall - Sweet mower, made of cheap materials, but for my purposes, I think it will work great. I always keep my receipts, so I will deal with warranty issues if required. I would definitely buy this mower again. Ask me in 5 years though, to be sure :)
What I would do different-
-Make it 80v :) 2 batteries in series, make it out of metal, with self propelled to offset the heavier design.
Home depot should use something like "itracks Mobile" to do in home use testing by using mobile phones (that may have received some advice to improve the design). Works great for uploading videos. Check it on youtube.
But like I said, buy the mower
