OK Folks, I buy a lot of equipment online, so I accept that fact that many large, heavy products like this may arrive damaged. Mine arrived damaged weeks ago, and still has not been used once! The gas feed is on TOP of the gas tank, with the feed line connected by a ridiculously flimsy plastic connection, not brass. The connection broke at the nipple during shipment. A call to Generac led me to a person who seemed terribly bored that my brand new washer arrived broken. I was courteous, patient, and requested a new part. Customer service can make/break a product experience. They broke it. This damage is not Generac's fault (except for a poor plastic design on a key part), but darn it - a little empathy and perhaps a promise to next day air me the part would've helped considerably. Instead they ground shipped a part to me. TWO WEEKS later, I still don't have the part. Checking with FedEx showed that they screwed up my address, even after I gave it twice, to two different people at Generac. This pressure washer may work well, but it appears I may never know!

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Woodturner Decent product for price
My washer arrived in good condition and after reading the instructions completely, the assembly went easy and quick. Be careful when filling the engine with oil. The right amount was included but proved to be too much. Fortunately, I had it sitting on cardboard and didn't get oil on the floor. I believe the engine already had a little oil in it. The unit started on the first pull of the cord. On the second usage of the machine it would not spray well and the pump kept going into bypass. I discovered that there was a small blockage in the nozzle that I had to clear. This happened twice and then no more problems. For the price, I don't think it can be beat.

Exceptional value in this product category. I have uses this pressures washer for 12 hours now and had 0 issues. I did read other reviews so I knew not to let the wand hose touch the exhaust. I have used source hose lengths from 25ft to 150ft and experienced minimal surging. The key to preventing surging is to ensure there is no air in the water source hose. After connecting the source purge the air by activating the wand with the motor off. Single pull starting is acheavable be releasing wand pressure just before pulling the string. Ensure you follow the instructions for oil change frequency, the first 8 hours is rough on the motor and will result in black scorched smelling oil if used longer before changing.
Love this machine, I have cleaned all the concrete at my house and a friends. Cleaned the engine bay on my car, stripped old wax off my car in preparation for a stage 2 paint restore, cleaned old paint off brick, all with a light weight economical machine.

I researched homeowner pressure washers and this one seemed to get the best reviews; bought online as it's not stocked in stores. I'd give it 5 stars, but when it arrived, the cheesy plastic handle on the cart was broken. There was no visual damage on the carton, so I assume it was due to poor packaging design. I called HD and they sent the replacement part, it arrived 10 days later, but it was the wrong part-- so this time I sent pictures and now I'm waiting for the second part. However, I was able to use it, but it was tricky moving it around. Overall, it does a good job, but does a GREAT job if you purchase a turbo nozzle, which IMHO should be included with every pressure washer sold! It makes quick work of anything and if you're careful, does not leave the telltale pressure washer streaks on what you're cleaning. I donât expect the new plastic handle to last as itâs too flimsy so I will eventually weld up something more durable.
