My dilemma .... I move from piece of equipment to another to perform another project task and, as usual, there is no tape measure handy. They tend to vanish in a shop! Solution HDX! An economical way for me to outfit every piece of my woodworking equipment with a dedicated tape measure. The Good: Tape reads in Standard and Metric. Tape lock works well. The BAD: The belt clip is useless. The beveled portion (lead-in) on the clip intended to catch your belt is very flat and some features of the tape measure case molding protrude further than the thickness of this lead-in thus making it a 2-hand job to attach the tape measure to a belt. I opted to remove the belt-clip and replace with a magnet on most of my tape measures so this feature was not a deal breaker for me. The AVERAGE: Includes a wrist strap ... again, a feature I don't need but worth mentioning for those who prefer to have it. Overall, I will continue to buy more for my intended use!!!
