Love the size of the freezer does not take a lot of space, keeping items cold very cold! Looks great in white, saver all year long on your Electric bill, an it can store large items with its 6.8 Cu Ft, its just great to have all the way around.

My wife and I bought this from Home Depot, for just the two of us. Its a great size for us, but has some room to spare for a larger family.
It works great and is relatively quiet - although its in our garage so this was not a big selling point for us.
This was a great purchase, and has paid for itself already. With work and busy schedules, we no longer get stuck eating out; we can pre-prep food for the upcoming week and get to enjoy home-cooking. Plus, we now utilize the local Warehouse Club's frozen food section.
I'd give the product a higher rating, except freezer really doesn't have many features: a temperature knob, a basket, and a door.

I bought the freezer on 23 Jun 2014. On 28 Jul 2014. I went to get some food out of the freezer only to find every thing was thawed out and ruined. Power light was on, so I had no reason to check it sooner. Called Home Depot and they said I had to contact Magic Chef. Did that. They sent someone out who said the compressor was locked up and could not be repaired. Magic Chef said they would refund the cost of the freezer but not the $400.00 dollars worth of food I lost. The refund will take up to two weeks to get. Really!?? In this day and age of modern technology, they are obviously sending my refund via Pony Express. Will never buy another Magic Chef product.

Unit operated for 4 days at 20 degrees. Changing settings did nothing to change temp. On the 5th day the unit was 55 degrees inside. Reset the freezer and checked it 4 hours later, 20 degrees. The next morning it was 49 degrees. This happened two more times before I returned it. Magic Chef customer service number would either ring and ring or go to voicemail. Never heard back from them. I was lucky, new freezer with very few items in it. Unit was in a 65 degree basement, no reason it shouldnt have been able to cool in that environment. I knew it was cheap but thought I'd get more than a week out of it.
