PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The Cummins Onan Cold Weather Start Kit is specially designed and manufactured for use with the RS20A home standby generator. The kit consists of an 80 Watt, 120 Volt thermostatically controlled (400 Fahrenheit on, 600 Fahrenheit off) engine oil heater and alternator dryer. By warming the engine oil and preventing alternator condensation/frost this cold weather start kit will provide reliable cold weather starting to 0 Fahrenheit.
- Requires external power source connected to heater
- Includes wiring harness with engine oil heater (50 Watt), alternator dryer (30 Watt) and built-in thermostat and instruction sheet
- Recommended for installation in areas where temperatures regularly drop below 20 degrees fahrenheit
- After cold weather start kit installation the RS20A's engine oil must be replaced with mobile1 0-W40 engine oil
