The LectraLock LDM1-7 model fits all standard duplex style type electrical outlets. The flat cover is intended to prevent the outlet from being used. Although the cover snaps into place by hand, a tool (such as a screwdriver) is required to remove it. This device offers a semi-permanent means of removing outlets from use without actually removing the wiring or receptacle as is required with a standard blanking plate.
