Rated 5 out of 5Â by Clynmocyk Very happy with this floor!
We live in a country home and our floors are uneven. We were limited with flooring options because of this. I absolutely love this floor. The material is very thick and the fact that the seams interlock like they do make it so much nicer than traditional vinyl floors. The only thing I will say as a negative- when they first laid the floor down I was focused on the seams showing in the floor. This was annoying to me at first. It doesn't bother me now. I think I was just super-focused on them in the beginning. If you think it will bother you, than go with an allure floor that has a design on the edge of the floor. That will take care of that problem! It's been four months and we haven't had a single problem with the floor. I am very happy with my decision.

We were looking to replace our floor in our kitchen. My wife and I really liked the grip strip setup that the Allure had to offer. Although it was on sale, it is not "cheap" material. All you need is a utility knife with a sharp blade. Take your time setting up the seams because once it is set, you pretty much damage the tile if you try to rip it off again.

Installed this product over the weekend in a utility room. Overall looks great and nice finish. Since the tile is relatively thick, I used tin snips to cut/trim and it was very straight forward - too hard with a knife. Now planning to do another room, compared to the wood based flooring i already purchased, because its easier than using a saw and less mess.
I want to see how the glue joints do over time. I'm hoping they hold up. Both top & bottom have glue on them and it definitely hard to pull them apart when you make a mistake.

I have gotten compliments on the look of this new floor and it was pretty easy to install except around the toilet, which is curvy so the tiles don't want to break as cleanly.
Definitely take advantage of the paper packaging, you can lie it on the adhesive sides of pieces that you've already installed and then position/check the next piece you want to put down with out them getting stuck together. They do adhere very very fast!
The only problem is that 2 days after I installed it one of the pieces peeled on the top. I can't confirm if it is a defect or because there was standing water on it for several hours and then caught on something being slid across the floor but I wasn't going to re-lay the entire floor so I used some glue to stick it down instead. So be aware, it's not going to be easy to go back since they all adhere to each other.
