Replacing a sink seems like a daunting task. If you have the right tools, it makes it easier. But nothing beats having a great design, and that's something that this Kohler sink excels at.
The only tough part of installing this sink was removing the old one! It was starting to rust, and a few of the nuts were tough to get at. But once the old one was out, installing the new one was effortless. The faucet went in pretty simply. The one problem i ran into is that the legs of the "C" bracket that holds the faucet in place were a bit too long because the counter has a lip that extends over the back edge of the sink. However if it happened to me, it could happen to you. The solution was simple, though. I just placed the edges of the bracket in a vise about 1/2" down and bent it back. No sweat.
The nut to secure the faucet to the counter is very long, over 3", and makes it incredibly easy to install. I've never seen this, but it made a hard to reach installation pretty simple.
The handles went in with little fuss as well, using a typical nut plate with screws for tightening. Plumbers putty was required for the handles, but not for the faucet, as it had a rubber ring.
The use of this faucet leaves a few things to be desired. First off, the stick to control the drain plug hits the long nut used to secure the faucet. So while it made installation a breeze, it was an impediment to actual use of the drain. Poor follow through. If you regularly use this, it could get quite annoying.
The handles also seem a tad tough to turn. Not excessively tough, mind you. Just not as smooth as i would have though for a brand new fixture. Additionally, the whole assembly seems to be very NOISY. When the water runs, its quite loud. I don't know why that is. I checked out two other sinks in the house just to ensure i wasn't crazy for the above noise and turning issue, and sure enough they didn't suffer from either of those problems.
The best part about the faucet, by far, is the water flow. Common for faucets nowadays is to have an aerator in the tip that mixes air and water. This usually results in a very bubbly water stream. Not here! The water flows out in a beautifully shaped stream, bubble free. Fantastic!
A nice minimalistic brushed nickel faucet that would seem at home in almost any counter.
Installation was a breeze, albeit at the cost of regularly impeding the use of the drain stick.
Faucet is surprisingly Loud, however water-flow is excellent.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by jswobe High quality faucet; easy to install, works well
I installed this on a new vanity top before securing it to the vanity. That always make installation easier. However, this faucet was still very easy to install and came out looking quite nice. The nut that secures the locking bar under the spout is about three inches long, making it very easy to reach if you had to do it from the front of a cabinet with the top already installed. The supply line connections were easy to make, and the drain assembly was typical.
The handles turn very smoothly, if not a little on the tight side. I prefer handles that are tight and less likely to loosen over time, or that are difficult to tighten because of age and use. So far, these are working quite well.
The faucet has good water flow and there is a nice angle on the spout, making for convenient use. The water does not pour straight down into the drain but slightly forward, making it more comfortable to use (less leaning forward to reach the water flow).
Overall, this is another quality Kohler product that looks great and feels as though it will last for some time.

We really liked this product and found it had a matching Linwood shower body. The brushed nickel color is elegant and rich. The fixture seems very durable and sturdy; well-made. We love the good water flow & pressure and good ease of use with the handles. It has a clean design feature that is modern and an instant classic.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by OCEANSIDE The angle of the faucet is very nice
I like the arc on this faucet since it doesn't point straight down. You can wash your hands without leaning down so far. An excellent design.
The installation is easy with the pre-assembled components and clear instructions.
High quality and nice design. I'm sure I'll appreciate this for many years.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by Steve Slightly more difficult to install
I installed this faucet on a vanity that did not have a standard 8" on-center spacing for the handles. The pre-drilled holes were curved, not straight, to follow the outline of the sink. The separate handles and downspout (three independent assemblies) worked perfectly for my application. I really liked the quality of the handle assemblies and downspout. They were substantial, not light and cheap, and the brushed nickel components were of high quality. The only reason I did not give this faucet five stars had to do with installation. I had difficulty tightening down the the two handle and downspout assemblies in their correct positions. I found this task impossible to accomplish by myself. I needed my helper to hold each one in their correct position while I tightened them underneath inside the vanity. They had a tendency to turn as I tightened them down. I had to repeat this process several times. Including an adhesive gasket would make this a one-man installation. This is not the easiest faucet I've ever installed but the finished product is well worth the additional labor.
