Had limited opening space for this product so choices were very few. This is a black oven with a stainless steel door. For this price, the whole outside should have been stainless steel. Oven temperature is not accurate. Burns food on the bottom. This oven replaced an existing Whirlpool that only lasted 7 years!!! Same identical panel as the old one. The previous Whirlpool lasted 22 years !! Will not buy another Whirlpool product until quality improves drastically and can be made and calibrated by people in the US

Purchased this wall oven after our '70's oven broke. It is soooo much better than the one we had. It fit in the same space and is roomier inside. It has the largest inside room out of the 24" out there. I still can't fit a large cookie sheet in it, but I can fit a 16" round pizza sheet in it. The racks curve up in the back( perhaps to keep things off the rear wall) but it prohibits some of the pans I can put in it (16" sq. pan) The digital display is good. It has a feature to time how long the oven is on for and will turn off after the time is up, so you could keep the food in to keep it warm without it continuing to cook. (just set the time for a couple min. less than required) The preheat has a timer letting you know how long until it is heated to the right temp. There are 2 lights inside that light the inside well. The window is a decent size. It seemed to be one of the bigger windows of the 24" ovens. And I like the design. The black ties into our cook top while the stainless goes with the other appliances. So far the food has cooked evenly, but I am relearning how to cook, because it is more efficient. On a different note- I have 2 very young kids and in the child proofing stages of life. The old oven they could grab the door, causing it to fall open. (The hinges were broken so the door would just fall! We had to have 2 people to put things in the oven- 1 to hold the door one to put the food in) This one has a trim on the sides that covers the sides of the door so the only way they can open the door is to grab the handle and it will be years until that can happen. I don't need to child proof the oven. It's a little thing but a big thing to help ease my mind with that. I can even open it myself, let it go and it works like a door should- no extra person required! On the con side of things, I find it takes a little long to preheat, and some parts seem flimsily made. When we opened it, screws started randomly falling out of the oven. We couldn't see missing ones and are hoping they were extras, but if they were I'm guessing they'd be in a bag. The whirlpool logo is popping off but it doesn't affect the functionality of it. the racks are thin ( compared to my 40 yr old metal racks) so I'm wondering how it will hold up with the heavy items. The fan is loud. It squeaks sometimes and keeps running until the oven is cool. It is hard to tell that the oven is off because it keeps going. And you need to push start after everything you do or it doesn't start things. I keep forgetting so sometimes it's cooling but I didn't set the timer. I will get used to that though. And the other thing that we weren't expecting is the chemical smell. We've just started using it and have only used it 6x's or so, but there is a chemical smell when cooking. We do expect that to go away as it gets used though. Just be aware of the new oven smell:) Then there's the price. It is comparable to others out there but wall ovens overall are expensive. Just shop the sales. Overall, there are certainly more pros than cons with this and the con's aren't to make me regret this choice. I am very happy with this choice.

The top control portion of this oven is entirely plastic, a fact the manufacturer takes pain to hide. I can only hope the day never comes when I bring something close to scratch it. The broiler will not stay on continuously, since it cycles on and off with temperature. It calls itself custom broil as if this was an asset. Why they didn't provide a control to keep it on non-stop is beyond me. The window is too small to look in and see what you are broiling, and if you open the oven door the broiler immediately goes off. Good luck trying to broil something as simple as shish kebobs. The accu-bake temperature control is nothing but their own version of hot air. My oven measures 25 degrees too hot for all temperature above 300 deg, yet right on the money for all those below. What that means is I will burn everything at any useful temperature. The user selectable temperature correction has only a single correction for all temperatures with insufficient range and only goes to 20 degrees. In short my oven is going to be either too hot if I don't correct it or too cold at some temperatures if I do. The correction simply won't work for every temperature. The biggest surprise is the pre-heating timer. It is very long like other users complain. 12 and 1/2 minutes to get to 350 degrees, or at least that is what the preheat timer, claims is supposed to be the case. Only it isn't.. I got suspicious and measured it and found the oven is far from preheated when it claims to be. In actuality it takes mine 30 minutes to preheat. I verified it by measurement. Their claim is baloney. There is no adjustment on the preheating timer, so you begin with a cold oven, if you believe the timer, and eventually burn your food if you don't correct your oven reading. The oven is so small I can't fit in my usual Thanksgiving meal. The crowning achievement of this oven, is its fan. It is so noisy, it is unpleasant to listen to. And why it was necessary at all, I can only begin to guess. Please take note that the fan stays on for about ten minutes when your cooking is all done. I have no reason to crawl inside the oven or to hasten it to cool down. I can only guess that the lack of insulation the manufacturer placed in this, becomes their own reason to want to make noise and run the fan after your meal is cooked. This oven is a lemon.

The controls are clear and easy to use. The fan to keep the cabinet cooled takes some getting used to but I believe it is a good safety feature. I don't want my cabinet wood to dry out. The baking is great.

We have had our wall oven for about a month now, and it gets alot of us. We make pizzas, use it to reheat and have done alot of baking. Accubake helps us to make the best cakes we ever have.
