Because HI-MACS is non-porous stains do not penetrate the surface, an excellent choice where hygiene is important and, mold and bacteria control are desired. HI-MACS sinks and backsplashes can be integrated to the countertop which creates the illusion of a single continuous surface. There are no cracks or crevices with coved backsplashes and integrated sinks for dirt or moisture to hide.
