Each is powered by an exclusive John Deere branded engine with an overhead valve design which offers superior power and more efficient fuel economy. Tractors are equipped with cast iron front axles for added durability. Full length welded steel frames enhance operator comfort. The tight 18 in. turning radius allows for superb maneuverability.

- Automatic transmission and 2 ft. control pedals allow you to set your own pace while moving forward and reverse, travel at speeds up to 5.5 mph
- 42 in. Edge Cutting System (deck) offers a smooth underside to prevent grass buildup, and the deep deck design lifts grass for a better cut, a wash port is included for your convenience in cleaning the underside of the deck, the cut heights range from 1 in to 4 in, in 1/4 in. increments
- Wide, step-through frame allows easy access on and off the tractor
