Stack-On's Quick Access Safe with Biometric provides quick access to the safes contents - no combinations to remember - just your finger tip. This all steel safe has been tested and verified to meet the California Department of Justice's standards as a fire arm safety device. The door will open automatically when the correct code is entered - providing quick access to the contents of the safe. The biometric reader compares the programmed (approved) fingerprints against a fingerprint trying to access the safe - if they do not match, entry is denied. Biometric readers provide quick, accurate entry with just the swipe of your finger. A low battery warning light will let you know when it is time to change the batteries. There is a time out period after 3 incorrect attempts to access the safe's contents. This safe has a black paint finish with silver accents.
