Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome, Easiest, Purchase Ever! My Maxfire grill was shipped directly to my home. I assembled it in about an hour and a half with absolutely no difficulty whatsoever. I feel certain, this grill will give me many years of good service. August 26, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Very good value After reading some of the reviews and seeing where some gave this grill a 1 or 2 star rating, i'm thinking they must have just been unlucky and got the one made on Monday. I've had mine almost 4 years now and even though it's only 2 of us, I use it quite a bit. The right side cooking grate just burnt through near the middle, but am going to get a new grate for $9.97 and hold out at least until next year for another new one. IMO, just can't beat it for the price. Igniter still works and even looks decent, but do have a cover. May 8, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Whaddya want for $99? Yes, it's cheaply made. Yes, it cooks unevenly. I've had mine for three years and haven't had any issues. I'm a single male in an apartment complex that only allows gas grills. I prefer a Weber charcoal grill, but whatevs. It's fine for simple dishes like burgers, chicken breasts, sausages etc. I would not recommend this grill for a large family or somebody who does complex grilling dishes. It's a $99 grill. Keep it clean and it'll do at a cabin, a camp site or an apartment. It won't do if you demand a lot out of a grill. May 18, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very Pleased! My wife and I purchased this grill 3 years ago in store. we bought it in the box and assembled it at home. Actually, she assembled it at home. The directions were clear and easy to understand and it took her about an hour to assemble. I have to say that after the last 3 years of use, this grill still works great. It has even taken a tumble off my deck when a thunderstorm came through and the wind gust got up under the cover I bought for it. a way of saying, it is resilient. Sure it has seen it's wear, as we use it about 3 times per week, and I need to purchase new flame tents for it, but for the price of the grill and what its been through, I don't mind that. I have never ruined a meal and this grill has cooked many a steak. Yes there are more expensive, better material made grills out there, but for a two adult, one kid household this thing is perfect. It's even cooked a couple holiday dinners on low. I am quite pleased with the purchase I made and with the performance of the grill. For my household, this was a great purchase. April 27, 2014
