Rated 1 out of 5Â by TheFloorGuy Ok for very small area, no good for large areas
This product is supposed to be for applying sealant to grout, however, if you use color seal, you will have problems with it if you are using it on anything larger than a very small bathroom of say about 50 square feet. There is no control over the flow except by squeezing the bottle. The tip clogs then as you squeeze harder then you start getting drips and sealant oozing from the cap. I did a 220 square foot area with it and it took forever! It was difficult to control how much sealant went down. It seemed t0 have no happy medium. It either put down too much or too little.

There is no means to control the amount of grout sealer being released from the bottle onto the wheel. While it may work OK on a floor, the liquid just pours out of the bottle it you try to use it on a wall as the tip does not contact the wheel and there is no flow adjustment.

For flooring with nice deep grout lines, product is amazingly efficient. Gentle squeeze as you slowly roll along the grout, and done in minutes. Thus the "fair" ratings.
UNFORTUNATELY - product design absolutely precludes using on walls. The spout which directs product onto the wheel just pours the product straight down when the bottle is held at any angle. I managed to get my walls done by wrapping microfiber cloths around the bottle to catch all the excess instead of allowing to land on flooring. Then, gentle squeeze of bottle gets enough product onto the wheel to allow roller application while moving down the walls.
The bottle should be re-engineered to have the product spout empty into a sealed wheel assembly, so the transfer of liquid is internal.
Despite the $5 price tag, I almost cant believe they put this on the market without CLEAR WARNINGS that this is NOT FOR USE ON VERTICAL SURFACES.
