The 8 in. Tree Trunk Protector is a durable plastic shield that coils around a young tree. It expands as the tree grows, creating a long-lasting physical barrier against the ravages of lawn movers and string trimmers. The attractive, natural brown color blends in with its surroundings, reflecting away the hot sun’s rays to prevent bark splitting while allowing the tree to breath.
