Starting with the job-site radio: I am very impressed by it. It really packs a punch for being so compact. You are able to do more on this one than most such as adjusting the bass and treble to increase the sound quality.
The battery lasted 3 hours off of my first charge playing an iPhone and gradually after 3 or 4 charges will last about 4 hours.
The compartment for the sound source is too small and it is impossible to fit an iPhone 5 with a low profile case. It did however fit an iPod touch just fine.
The presets are nice as well as the grab handles.
I used it on my latest golf outing to entertain the players.
It is very well balanced and feels good in your hand. The generous torque settings are helpful to avoid stripping out a screw. The LED light is nice as well as the quick connect bit feature. The 12 volt battery lasted all day. I was a little taken back by the battery clip. It is cheap plastic that just flexes into the tool. I do not see this lasting too long. I think it could have been better designed

The drill has far more power than I ever expected. For its size the torque is unbelievable. Even the battery lasted longer than I ever expected. The radio is small, compact and rugged. The radio has one weakness. The power button can be easily depressed by accident when not in use. The backup memory batteries are easily drained when this happens. All setting are then lost.

I've considered picking up the radio before, but this combo deal finally made it something I just could not pass up. I had no expectations of the radio being just as nice as, or having all the features of, a $200 jobsite radio, but it does sound pretty good at moderate levels. Tiny and light, it'll go a lot of places that I would not lug a larger one. The screwdriver is just okay. A great deal overall.

Would definitely recommend, bought it for the radio the screwdriver is just a bonus as I already have DeWalt brushless combo. Milwaukee m12 series is top of the line and for the size of the radio you can really notice the build quality, with out a doubt , a great deal.

I've owned quite a few Milwaukee products and I've never been disappointed; this radio/cordless driver doesn't disappoint.
When I opened the box, I was a little surprised at the size of the radio. To me, it seemed a little small. I did a no-no and installed the battery and turned the radio on. Good sound for such a small radio and some nice bass. I started reading the directions and I read that the battery needs to be fully charged before installing. I took the battery out and put it on the charger. This kit comes with a transformer, so it can be run without the battery.
The instructions told me to install two AAA batteries for the memory and clock function. The screw is a little hard to get to, but I got it off. The cover is also a little hard to get off, but after some effort, it was off. I installed the batteries and the cover was a small challenge to get back on (the springs are pretty strong - I'd like to see a re-design, where the cover could be clipped in place, then screwed in. The way it works now, it's a little work to get the screw back on.
The battery charges fast and I used it on the screwdriver. Very nice feel, solid tool with a good feel in my hand. Balance is good and the quick bit change feature is a huge bonus. Just pull the sleeve back and remove the old bit and install the new one. The battery is also very easy to remove and install. The driver has a lot of torque and should take out the stubborn screws.
The radio has a cool little antenna, which clips to the back when not in use. The buttons feel good - quality materials. There's even a door to put an iPod or MP3 player inside. I didn't try the iPod feature yet, but based on the quality of sound of the radio, an iPod should sound even better.
I try to take care of my tools and I don't like throwing them or letting them drop. If this radio fell, I feel confident that it could take the hit. It feels very durable.
Overall, a pretty mighty radio for such a small size. Very portable and I like the bonus of the cordless Hex driver. Great job Milwaukee.
