Prep


Start by properly preparing your surface with Custom Building Products PREP products. For concrete floors, use RedGard. For wood floors or countertops, use either 1/4" WonderBoard or EasyMat. For walls and showers, use 1/2" WonderBoard.

Set


Prevent cracks and ensure maximum bond, by setting your porcelain and ceramic tile with FlexBond crack prevention mortar, and set your natural stone with Marble & Granite Premium Mortar.

Grout


For your grout, choose one of 29 in stock colors of Polyblend, America's #1 grout. For joint widths between 1/16" and 1/2", use sanded Polyblend. For joint widths less than 1/16", use non-sanded Polyblend.

Care


Custom Building Products recommends that you seal grout after installing tile to prevent staining. Use SurfaceGard Penetrating Sealer or Aim & Seal Grout Sealer. Clean grout occasionally to eliminate grime or buildup.
