To browse the availability of products online at a local store, please follow the steps below:

1. Visit our Web site at homedepot.com.

2. Enter your ZIP Code in the upper left hand corner of our home page, below the Search box.

3. The nearest store will be selected based on your ZIP Code.

4. To change the store, you may click on the Change link located to the right of your current store selection and follow the prompts.

5. Enter the product name or model number in the Search Box and click on the Search button to view availability.

The general Proposition 65 notice is as follows: WARNING: This product contains chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm.

Proposition 65 notice for wood products is as follows: WARNING: Drilling, sawing, sanding or machining wood products generates wood dust, a substance known to the State of California to cause cancer. Use a respirator or other safeguards to avoid inhaling wood dust.

You can ship most items on homedepot.com for free in store pickup.

First, confirm that you are using an updated version of your browser. Please update to the current version if you are not using it. If you are already using an updated version, please delete your browser history, temp files, and cookie cache. If you are using Internet Explorer, you should also unclick Preserve Website Favorites. Next, ensure that your cookies are enabled. Once this is done, please close your browser and restart it. Come back to www.homedepot.com and set your store following these convenient steps:

Setting the store on the home page

1. At the top of the home page, just above the search box, click the orange CHANGE link next to your current store location. If you do not have a local store selected, click on Select Your Local Store. Either action will direct you to the Store Finder page.
2. Enter your zip code in the box labeled FIND A STORE and then click the orange FIND STORES button to the right. This will direct you to a selection of stores closest to you.
3. Click the MAKE THIS MY STORE button next to the store you wish to choose.

Setting the store on the Local Ads page

1. Click the Change link next to the zip code displayed.
2. Enter the new zip code in the search field and press enter. The zip code you entered will disappear but the list of stores will have updated.
3. Click the View Local Ads link next to the desired store to close the search box. This will change your selected store and display its local ad.

Setting the store in Your Account

1. Click on the orange Sign In link on the upper right side of the screen.
2. After signing in to Your Account, hover over Your Account and choose Account Profile.
3. Scroll down to My Store and choose Change Store.

The homedepot.com site detects your location through your Internet Service Provider and automatically sets a store for you, though sometimes this might not be the closest store to you. The best way to ensure you have your preferred store every time you visit the site is by setting your store via our store finder and ensuring that you have your cookies enabled.

If you have your browser settings set to clear cookies on every visit, then we would suggest that you set your preferred store in the My Account section of the website and sign in to your account every time you visit the site.

Below are some ways you could set your preferred store:

Setting the store on the home page

3. On this page you will see three tabs, All products, Online & In store.
4. Click on In store – you will see all the products that are available at your preferred local store.
