Managing Multiple Cords & Cables with CableMate

Managing Multiple Cords & Cables with CableMate

Installing chair rail or baseboard to organize your home office cables and cords is a job you can easily do yourself with Wiremold’s CableMate series of products. Three internal channels in both the baseboard and the chair rail provide high capacity for many combinations of cables, while cord opening pieces and knock-outs on the end caps allow easy cord entry and exit.

This project guide will show you step by step how to install the chair rail or baseboard to organize your home office cords and cables.

Due to heat generated by power cords, run no more than two power cords in the top channel and one power cord in the bottom channel of either the baseboard or chair rail. Up to four low voltage cables can be run in the middle channel.

After installation, Wiremold’s chair rail and baseboard can be painted with latex paint to blend with your décor.
