Materials:
· CableMate chair rail or baseboard
· Two end caps
· One chair rail or baseboard cord opening
· Screws

| Draw a Level Line |
| Using the level, draw a level line with a pencil at the height you want the chair rail. The baseboard can line up against the floor or the top of the existing baseboard. |

| Attach the Cord Opening Base |
| 1. | Use a pencil to mark the locations on the wall along the level line for the three screw holes for the cord opening base. |
| 2. | Drill the screw holes into a wall stud if possible. If you can’t use a wall stud, tap wall anchors into the wall with a hammer. |
| 3. | Use the screwdriver to attach the cord opening base. |

| Install the Channel |
| 1. | Measure the distance between the wall outlet you will use as your power source and the cord opening base. Cut the channel to this length. |
| 2. | Install the chair rail or baseboard with screws along the level line. |
| 3. | Install the remainder of the chair rail or baseboard on the other side of the cord opening. |

| Place Cords in the Channels |
| 1. | Place power cords in the top and bottom channels, with data, phone or other low-voltage cables in the center. |
| 2. | Snap the hinged cover closed on each section of the chair rail. |

| Close the Cord Opening |
| 1. | Feed the cables through the cord opening. |
| 2. | Snap the cover over the opening. |

| Install the End Caps |
| 1. | Use pliers to remove the knockouts for cables, as needed. |
| 2. | Slide the end caps over each end of the chair rail or baseboard. |

| Paint |
| Paint the chair rail using latex paint to match your décor. |
