The Brass Shine Polishing Cloth leaves an invisible anti-tarnish coating that will prevent retarnishing of the item. Brass is a metal that has pores. What this means is that an item that is made of brass weathers or tarnishes not only from the outside inwards, but also can tarnish inside (sub-surface) and spread outwards.
