Description:
Easily grown, shrubby plant that will grow to 3 ft. tall by mid-spring, when it produces very large, very fragrant, rose-pink, double flowers. Glossy green, lance-shaped leaves remain throughout summer and early fall, then dies to ground after frost. May need support because hard rains can cause them to arch to the ground. Plant in full sun to partial shade in organically rich, well drained soil. Remove spent flowers after blooming. Cut foliage to ground and remove from garden in fall after frost. Plants are long-lived, do not need to be divided, and can be left undisturbed for years. Used as a staple in the perennial border, as a specimen, in mass, as a hedge along fences, sidewalks, and driveways. We're sorry, but due to state regulations, this plant cannot be shipped to Mississippi.
